∎ Master of Development Studies (MDS), Master of Science (MSc) in Disaster Management, CIvil Engineering, Master of Social Science (MSS)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To implement the quality program on projects through ensuring effective monitoring system.-30%
∎ Ensure organizational strategic objective and goal
∎ Prepare project implementation plan (PIP) considering the proposal and local context to achieve goal and objectives.
∎ Supervise the beneficiary selection process and finalize the beneficiary list.
∎ Provide strategic direction, oversight & leadership to Project staff to manage the project.
∎ Hold overall responsibility for maintaining strict compliance with donor rules and regulations.
∎ Develop monthly field visit plans and ensure the plans regularity
∎ Manage the project, oversee budget and carry out the monthly expenditure analysis, prepare reports and requirements of the fund.
∎ Regularly follow up on the project activity, financial status works progress.
∎ Approval of bills and vouchers as per his/her authority level
∎ Prepare activity plan for project staff.
∎ Ensure the minimum standards in financial and logistics management are met to ensure accountability and transparency.
∎ Support program staff in the planning of project activities and the establishment of high-quality performance targets, ensuring adherence to technical standards, best practices, and donor guidelines.
∎ Assist program staff to use appropriate project management tools to plan, review and track progress on project implementation as well as on the utilization of project resources.
∎ Ensure staff movement log, vehicle log, and visitors log strictly
∎ Ensure Field offices safety and security inappropriate manner
∎ Ensure accomplishment of the project activity within the Project period
∎ To ensure the quality and impact of the program and emergency responses, ensuring that gender inequity is addressed.
∎ To ensure organizational visibility in different stages.
∎ Capacity Building initiatives for beneficiaries and project staff at program level-20%
∎ Organize basic training for newly recruited project staff
∎ Participate and facilitate project-related awareness-raising programs at the community level.
∎ Conduct skill development training
∎ Keeping update on Project progress activity to the Coordinator of Steering Committee.
∎ Provided one to one coaching to staff for understanding project goals and objectives
∎ Organize training and workshop in different sectors for internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Ensures the effective reporting according to the project need-10%
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, interim and final narrative reports as per proposal and project need.
∎ Provide progress report to the country office and donor
∎ Prepare the financial report of expenditure and update from time to time.
∎ Meet the different reporting deadlines.
∎ Update OnTrack System on regular basis.
∎ Ensures comprehensive and effective Coordination and advocacy with different stockholders-20%
∎ Organized the project inception meeting with different level stakeholders.
∎ Act as the central focal point for all activities and issues taking place at the camp level
∎ Ensure effective networking and coordination with Union, Upazila, and DC offices.
∎ Active participation in different coordination meetings at Upazila and District level
∎ Conduct/ Participate in different individual/joint need assessments.
∎ Ensure appropriate links with national/local authorities, state institutions, civil society, and other relevant stakeholders, including effective coordination and information exchange with them
∎ Ensure the mobilization and participation of the local communities’ populations in the governance system with particular emphasis on meaningful inclusion of women, children, the elderly, and persons with specific needs into decision-making processes
∎ Promote and facilitate accountability towards local population through setting including set up of complaints and feedback mechanism which promotes accountability
∎ Ensure clarification of roles and responsibilities amongst local stakeholders in the community for the maintenance of infrastructure with a focus on sustainability and community/local government ownership
∎ Establish coordination and collaboration with local Administration
∎ Liaise with partners, government representatives, donor agencies, national and international NGOs to ensure smooth implementation of the project;
∎ Involve UDMC & other Project implementation teams for implementation of the project
∎ Work alongside staff to build their capacity in program planning and design; program management; monitoring and evaluation.
∎ Organized lesson learned workshop for further organizational development.
∎ Collecting successful project completion letters from relevant authorities.
∎ Ensure effective and appropriate project archiving.- 10%
∎ Well and proper documentation preservation.
∎ Archiving the project documents (hard copy and electronic copy) as per IR guidelines.
∎ Functional the complaint response mechanism and feedback system (CRMF)-5% • Ensure CFM process in different stages.
∎ Practicing IRs principles and values at the personal as well as in implementation level
∎ Continuous orientation on complain system for field staff
∎ Ensure complain log and register at the project level
∎ Share different information to develop a project with the knowledge management team.
∎ Other Requirement-5%
∎ Manage and ensure the integration & compliance of IR policies and other relevant sector codes of good practices including administrative, health, safety, and security policies and frameworks at field level;
∎ Contribute to other project activities and any other tasks as required by program management;
∎ Willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods and to remote areas of the projects.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation and as well as Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on the safeguarding of harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Responsible for seasonal (Ramadan & Qurbani) & emergency response programs if require.
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each staff member to understand and obey IR Child Protection & PSEA Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor/Country program management

∎ Experience in working with To engage the Institutions and communities in the targeted climate vulnerable coastal areas are better prepared for climate change impacts, WaSH environment, waste management, and mitigation measures, Rights of the children of the marginalized communities through greater access to education and development opportunities, formal and informal education intervention and implementation procedures, Enhanced sustainable livelihood opportunities and empowerment of marginalized communities
