Helping Human is looking for a capable, experienced, and responsible Project Manager to lead the organization's projects and day-to-day operations.
Helping Human has projects that include a Tea Estate, Training Center, and other development activities. The Project Manager will take direct responsibility for managing these projects, leading teams, improving operations, and ensuring that organizational plans are properly implemented.
This is a hands-on management position for someone who can take ownership, manage people and resources, solve problems, and deliver results.
Take overall responsibility for the planning, management, and successful execution of Helping Human's projects.
Manage the Tea Estate independently, including tea cultivation, field operations, production, workers, resources, and daily estate activities.
Plan and monitor planting, pruning, plucking, weeding, fertilizing, pest and disease control, and other tea cultivation activities.
Recruit, supervise, and manage estate workers and field staff.
Monitor worker performance, productivity, attendance, and daily work allocation.
Manage the Training Center and ensure its daily activities run smoothly.
Plan and monitor training programs, schedules, trainers, facilities, equipment, and participants.
Develop new training initiatives based on organizational and community needs.
Prepare project plans, work schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
Monitor project progress, performance, expenses, and overall results.
Manage project resources, equipment, materials, and operational costs responsibly.
Maintain proper records of project activities, staff, production, expenses, and resources.
Prepare regular reports and provide clear updates and recommendations to senior management.
Identify operational problems and take practical steps to solve them.
Develop and implement ideas to improve project efficiency, productivity, sustainability, and long-term growth.
Build positive relationships with workers, staff, trainers, local communities, partners, and other stakeholders.
Ensure discipline, safety, accountability, and professional standards across all projects.
Work both independently and with senior management to achieve Helping Human's goals.
Take responsibility for other projects or activities assigned by senior management.
We are looking for someone who is more than a project coordinator. The ideal candidate should be a strong, practical manager who can manage people, operations, field activities, and multiple responsibilities at the same time.
The candidate should have strong leadership and decision-making skills, good communication ability, practical problem-solving skills, and the confidence to take ownership of projects from planning to execution.
The person should be comfortable working in both office and field environments and should be willing to travel to project locations when required.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Business Administration, Development Studies, Social Science, Public Administration, or a relevant field.
Candidates from other academic backgrounds with strong relevant experience may also be considered.
3–7 years of relevant experience in project management, operations management, NGO/development projects, or a similar management role.
Experience managing teams, field operations, budgets, or multiple projects will be highly valued.
Experience in a Tea Estate, Training Center, agricultural project, social enterprise, or community development project will be an advantage.
Candidates with strong practical management experience and proven leadership ability are encouraged to apply.
