Experience:
8+ years overall experience in Fire & Life Safety systems execution ; 5+ years leading projects as PM/Lead Engineer/Project Lead.
Proven delivery on large projects (Hospital/Healthcare strongly preferred).
Working knowledge of BNBC and common project standards (NFPA exposure is a strong advantage).
Strong experience with submittals, shop drawings, as-built documentation, and commissioning/handover.
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership of multi-discipline site teams and subcontractors
Planning & reporting discipline (weekly progress, procurement tracker, risk register)
High attention to documentation detail (as-builts, test packs, asset/tagging)
Excellent coordination and communication (English and Bangla)
Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD and document control practices preferred
Preferred / Advantage:
PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent project management training
Experience delivering UL-listed / FM / CE / EN certified packages and maintaining listing compliance records
Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders on complex healthcare projects
We are a market leading Electro-Mechanical Systems and Solutions provider in Bangladesh hiring a Project Manager who have vast experience in the field of Life Safety Systems (Fire Detection & Alarm System, Fire Protection (Hydrant & Sprinkler) System, Clean Agent System, Smoke Curtain System, Fire Door, Public Address and Staircase pressurization Systems).
Location: Anywhere in Bangladesh (site-based) | Type: Full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning, Programme & Cost:
Prepare baseline program, weekly look-ahead plans, manpower plans, and productivity targets.
Monitor progress vs. schedule, implement recovery plans and coordinate with client.
Manage project budget: Labour, materials, subcontractors, wastage control, and variation tracking.
Lead measurement, billing support, and internal cost reporting.
Maintain a submittal register with listing evidence, certificates, and traceability to installed items.
Coordinate with consultant/client for timely approvals, manage clarifications and resubmittals.
Shop Drawings, Coordination & As-Built Updates:
Lead preparation/review of coordinated shop drawings and builders-work drawings (sleeves, openings, supports).
Ensure coordination with architectural/structural/MEP/ELV teams (clash-free routing, access/maintenance clearances).
Implement a controlled process for as-built drawing updates:
Redline mark-ups from site, change logs, revision control
Timely conversion into final CAD/PDF as-builts for handover
Ensure as-builts reflect actual device addresses, zones, valve tags, and final routing
Site Execution & Quality (QA/QC):
Oversee installation teams for piping, supports, cabling, panel installation, device installation, terminations, labeling.
Implement ITPs/checklists, conduct inspections with QA/QC and consultant as required.
Ensure workmanship compliance: pressure ratings, hanger spacing, loop integrity, segregation, earthing, identification, and maintainability.
Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and snag closure.
Authority Inspection Support & Handover:
Coordinate with the main client/consultant for authority inspection readiness (including documentation and site preparedness).
Prepare handover deliverables:
Approved as-builts, O&M manuals, training records, spares, warranties, test certificates, UL listing / FM / CE / EN certifications evidence packs (as required)
Train hospital/hotels maintenance staff on operation, routine checks, and alarm response procedures.
Ensure teams comply with PTW systems, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.
