Job Context:
∎ Project Title: Promoting Rights & Human Dignity of the Socially Excluded Communities
∎ The Project Manager will be responsible overall Project Implementation, Supervision and Monitoring within a team work frame. The position will be based at Upazila level and have to coordinate with all other stakeholders at Upazila as well as Union level while necessary for functioning the project activities dealing with the project beneficiaries, building relationship with the stakeholders including local level influential social leaders and representatives of the Union Parishad.
∎ The primary scope of the work will include supervising the day-to-day operations of the project; primarily He/she will be responsible for community level communication, mobilization and awareness building towards different stakeholders (adolescent girls/boys, their parents, teachers, local authorities, service providers etc).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervising and coordinating the project staffs to work with identified beneficiaries on human right based approaches, early marriage prevention, child protection youth group mobilization, climate resilience issues, Right to justice & democratic governance, group based activity & leadership development of dalit community people;
∎ Supervising and coordinating child sponsorship management related task, Child recreation centre management and child development;
∎ Supervising and Coordinating the Facilitators of the project of awareness sessions on rights issues for several groups at community levels;
∎ Work with parents/guardians, teachers, SMC members, local authorities, local political and religious leaders) on human rights issue;
∎ In collaboration with the Head office, facilitating the advocacy issues at different stakeholder levels;
∎ Coordinating with the Donor and Program Head( Health and Livelihood)of partner organization for organizing the different activities and promptly reporting in case of any problem arisen to look for a quick solution;
∎ Supervise and monitoring all financial matters related project implementation and ensuring maintaining accounts at project office.
∎ Preparing the reports ( monthly, quarterly & yearly) and work plan .This will be submitted to the Donor and Program Head( Health and Livelihood)of partner organization for revision and approval;
∎ Extensive field visits are required;
∎ Performing any other related job assigned by the authority from time to time;

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3 years experience in a similar position, coordinating and supervising several staff members and dealing with local authorities/community leaders;
∎ Previous experience in implementing Actionaid Funded project of LRP will be given preference;
∎ Strong communication skills, especially to network and deal with Government officers, other NGOs, media and the donor;
∎ Planning and organizational skills;
∎ Good knowledge of the use of Microsoft office package (Word, Excel, Power Point), and internet browsing;
∎ Written and spoken skills in Bangla and English are required;
∎ Valid driving license (ability to drive a motorcycle);
∎ Residential location has to be in the project area;
∎ Ability to work under pressure and manage the workload effectively;
∎ Leadership skills and ability to effectively manage the time;
∎ Previous experience with dalit/marginalized communities will be a plus.

Salary: Tk. 28875 (Monthly)
