Experience:
Master’s in Social Science/ Development Studies/ Education/ Statistics/ Economics and in relevant field from any reputed university

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the effective implementation of the Humanitarian Play Lab (HPL) project. This includes managing staff, ensuring quality in delivery, liaising with partners and stakeholders in the camp and host, monitoring progress, and reporting on outcomes. The role ensures that the program meets its goals in line with child development, play-based learning, protection, and humanitarian standards.
Implement the project activities effectively
Oversee day-to-day planned activities of selected Govt. Primary School’s teachers, students and caregivers
Guide and supervise field based DPM, Senior Project Officers, Field Facilitators, Para Counsellors and host volunteers
Capacity building of the components, team members & teachers
Liaison with the Donors, Govt. agency and other stakeholders in host community i.e, UNO, DPEO, UPEO
Advocacy with Govt. Officials, INGO, NGOs and relevant stakeholders
Properly work with M&E, MIS, Grants, PDDR, Budget & Finance and Procurement teams to monitor outputs and impact
Ensure alignment of project objectives with organizational and donor priorities
Managing project officers for effective implementation of project plan
Working in a diversified and challenging working environment
Prepare and manage budgets in coordination with the finance team
Monitor expenditure and ensure efficient use of resources
Ensure financial compliance and assist in audits as required
Represent the HPL project in coordination meetings and relevant forums
Support recruitment, training, and capacity development of project staff
Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and mentorship
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
