Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the Team Lead and PDL and Grants team in budget calculation and real cost estimation as per projects needs
∎ Support the WASH team lead in human resources salaries and all the costs related calculation and provide overall resources analysis for better planning and utilization
∎ Support the Team lead through development of the tracking tools and compilation of the agreed reporting templates.
∎ Support BRAC management through active participation in budget and account related discussion meetings
∎ Ensure the procurement plans and workplan are as per the cash flow forecast in all the project
∎ Develop and monitor all the transactions and financial report and ensure the PMs provide the inputs timely
∎ Supervise the budget tracking associates and conduct periodic review to ensure the tracking is done correctly
∎ Track all the administration cost and other procurement related cost and work closely to ensure the plans and procurement process is done as per the agreed and approved plan.
∎ Document all the budgets, communication from donor and BRAC staff including the modification in the budget and ensure the PMs and project staff communicated and action taken
∎ Record and document all the grants variations and document the decision on relocation of the budget lines and miscoding.
∎ Backup and update all WASH financial transactions, budgets, documents and bills and establish the filing system with holding the PMs accountable in any action related
∎ Coordinate with Grants and finance and other support function in decision making and actions
∎ Organize the capacity building for the staff including the PMs and document the learning with learning division.
∎ Hold responsibilities of final budget and related BoQ and ensure the correct calculations are maintained in all the steps.
∎ Crosscheck the budgets are in line with the proposal narrative and work plan through careful review of the budget and narrative document with PDL and WASH lead
∎ Develop the financial reports as per donor and BRAC policies and ensure all the indicators and put-put are in line with approved proposal
∎ Review and prepare the Cost estimations related to the external evaluations and any surveys may WASH sector be engaged.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years working experience in NGO/INGO in relevant role.
∎ Sound Knowledge in Budget Management, Budget Monitoring, Financial Reporting.
∎ Advance knowledge in MS Office (specifically advanced formulas, pivot tables and charts in Excel).
∎ Ability to work independently and handle multiple sector activities focusing on humanitarian crisis.
∎ Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
∎ Ability to handle a large team and leadership quality.
