Job Context:
∎ World Vision`s Gender-Inclusive Pathways From Poverty for Vulnerable Households in Cox`s Bazar project, supported by the Australian government, aims to increase incomes of ultra-poor households through a carefully sequenced approach to meet their basic needs and well-being of ultra-poor households in Cox`s Bazar.
∎ The project will pilot a gender-inclusive Ultra-Poor Graduation Model, adapted to the emergency situation, to help ultra-poor families achieve a sustainable pathway out of poverty. The project will integrate disaster risk reduction and child protection considerations.
∎ The project aims to improve resilience and well-being of selected ultra-poor households for 5 years (2017-18 to 2021-22) in Ukhiya and Teknaf sub- districts in Cox`s Bazar. It will apply the ultra-poor Graduation Model to put ultra-poor households on a path towards a sustainable livelihood.
∎ This position will report to the Regional Field Director of World Vision Bangladesh`s (WVB) Central Eastern Region. He/she will also interact with WVB`s Grants and Acquisition Management (GAM) unit on matters pertaining to donor relationship and contracts.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The position has overall responsibility for the management of all project activities, coordinating partner's activities and staff of core project team of Gender Inclusive Pathways out of Poverty for Vulnerable Household in Cox's Bazar project.
∎ The Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of the goal and outcomes the project and will regularly report progress in achieving them to the donor.
∎ He/she will also be responsible for managing the field level implementation of the project through the field level partner organizations.
∎ This position is expected to maintain strong relationship with project implementing partners and the core project team on matters pertaining to donor relationship, compliance and contracts.
∎ Provide leadership in achieving the goal and outcomes of the project, mobilizing the team members, staff and local partners and other project resources.
∎ Lead technical and support team members in project implementation in accordance with the standards of Ultra poor programming and the requirements of WV and the donor including financial and M&E functions.
∎ Ensure timely and proper implementation of program/projects in line with WV policies and standards and donor compliance.
∎ Manage the relationship with donor /secondment in-country ensuring that project objectives and donor requirements are met.
∎ Ensure high standard of stewardship in resource mobilization, allocation, utilization in compliance with WV Financial Policies and procedures as well as donor compliance.
∎ Lead in the integration of gender, disability inclusion and sustainability strategies of the project.
∎ Manage on the job capacity building for team members.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge of 36 months Ultra Poor Graduation Program.
∎ Standard understanding on basic nutrition and nutrition sensitive interventions.
∎ Advanced understanding on M&E.
∎ Excellent Writing and Communication Skills both in Bengali and English.
∎ Knowledge & skills on Partner Management, Communications, Networking and Advocacy
∎ Leadership and team building.
∎ Strong coordination skills, flexibility, adaptability and patience; facilitation and interpersonal skills.
∎ Critical thinking, Creative and innovative thinking skills.
∎ Strong knowledge of government donor requirements, if possible with major public donors compliance management and report writing skills.
∎ 7-8 years of experience in the fields of Livelihood, Humanitarian and Development work.
