Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (Electrical Substation) who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing electrical substation installation and commissioning projects in accordance with IEC standards, project specifications, and company guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end execution of electrical substation projects including installation, testing, and commissioning

• Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure timely delivery

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal departments for smooth project execution

• Supervise site activities and ensure proper installation of substation equipment as per design and standards

• Ensure compliance with IEC standards, safety regulations, and company policies

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions

• Prepare and present project status reports to management and stakeholders

• Manage project budget, cost control, and procurement coordination

• Lead and guide site engineers and technical teams effectively

• Ensure quality control and adherence to ISO standards (QMS, EMS, OH&S)

• Conduct site visits and attend client meetings as required

• Ensure proper documentation, testing reports, and handover procedures are completed

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from a reputed university

• Extensive experience in electrical substation installation and commissioning

• Strong knowledge of substation equipment, protection systems, and testing procedures

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification will be preferred

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure

• Willingness to travel to project sites across Bangladesh
