Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Collaboration, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) Specialist provides a broad range of support to the Mission in all matters related to monitoring, evaluation, and CLA implementation and management efforts. S/he is involved in all aspects of Program Office (PRO) activities ranging from monitoring, evaluation, learning (MEL) and CLA, to more general PRO responsibilities such as reporting to Washington D.C. or representing USAID in external meetings involving other donors, implementing partners and Government of Bangladesh (GoB) Officials.
∎ The job holder’s main role is to support PRO in providing leadership and guidance on MEL with a special emphasis on CLA best-practices for implementing the Mission’s portfolio. The Specialist employs cutting edge MEL tools and best practices to further expand the Mission’s focus on adaptive management effectively. The job holder plays an important role to ensure the Mission is a learning organization. S/he will advance collaboration both internally in the Mission and externally with key stakeholders, promote learning, and support processes to enable adaptive management for USAID activities. The job holder will foster strong, professional relations with key staff in the Mission to implement USAID/Bangladesh’s learning agenda included in the Performance Management Plan (PMP). Key to his/her role is supporting the coordination of activity monitoring, evaluation, assessment, learning, and reporting that covers multiple technical sectors, including the documentation of success stories and lessons learned. The job holder does stakeholders mapping exercise and develops engagement strategies to facilitate intentional collaboration between USAID activities and partners; donor communities, development agencies and stakeholders in the host government.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 60 years
∎ A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in the development sector is required. This should include but are not limited to the evidence based and learning led design and adaptive implementation of projects and/or programs, development of program related evaluations and statistical analysis, development of strategic design and program policy, development of program impact indicators, collaboration, learning, and adapting (CLA), data collection and analysis. Furthermore, performance reporting, development and utilization of programmatic monitoring tools, performance evaluation coordination, and impact evaluations, knowledge management, change management and communication experience with bi or multilateral donors, international development organizations, government institutions, and diplomatic missions

Salary: Tk. 215466 - 388668 (Monthly)
