Experience:

• At least 12 years

Master’s in Business Administration/ Post Graduation in Social Science/ Master’s in Development Studies/ Master’s Degree in any relevant field

• At least 12 years

Experience:

• Minimum 12 years of job experience in the field humanitarian development sector in any recognized National or International NGO

• Minimum 6 years job experiences in managerial and leadership level

• Should have knowledge and practical experiences about FD-6/FC-1 and other NGO affairs Bureau relevant work

Capacity Requirement:

• Should have the capacity to liaison with Government officials (NGO Affairs Bureau, NBR, UNO, Chairman) & with other stakeholders

• Sound knowledge about Networking & Communication

• Should have practical experience in rural field work with poor people

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural office environment

• Must be good in written and spoken English Language

• Must have excellent knowledge of MS office package, online cloud meeting and relevant technology

• Strong managerial and leadership capacity to build and manage the whole project without top-down supervision

Shishu Polli Plus (a project of The Sreepur Village, Bangladesh) is a humanitarian organization which is located in Sreepur of Gazipur District. We provide support of shelter, education, rehabilitation & livelihood training to the destitute mothers and children which help them to re-settle in their community with better financial and interpersonal skills. Now we are looking for qualified candidates for the position of Project In-charge for smooth operation of the whole project as per followings

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the proper implementation of project activities as per organizational policies, yearly plan and budget

• Leading the project activities as a Head of the project and managing the compliance and responsibilities of the donor, NGOAB, NBR, Trusty Board and other relevant parties

• Maintaining network and liaison with different local and foreign parties and participating in different internal and external meetings/workshop/conference as per need

• Creating and implementing different fundraising strategies and supervising the team to raise money effectively

• Overseeing the activities of Child & Mother Care Department, Rehabilitation & Livelihood Development Department, Education & Training Department, HR, Admin & Support Department, Sreepur Village Trade, Dhaka Office and Dinajpur Office etc.

• Managing the digital development of the organization and ensuring the effective management of BIMS software

• Maintain an effective working relationship with all staff members, donors, partners, vendors, community members, beneficiaries

• Solving the different issues related with beneficiaries, staff, donors and higher managements and ensuring the safety/ securities of the whole project

• Supervising the arrangement of different program like annual picnic, anniversary, different religious festivals, day celebration etc.

• Monitor and evaluate the actual performance of the project and take necessary corrective action for better performance of the project

• Participating in Trusty Board’s Meeting and solving the queries of trusty board members

• Overseeing the infrastructural issues of the whole project and take necessary initiative as per need

• Handling the different types of visitors and controlling their access during the visitation including compliance with safeguarding policy

• Participating in budget preparation, income generation of the project and controlling the expenditure

• Ensuring the proper implementation of safeguarding policy and taking necessary initiative if any violation of safeguarding policy occur

• It is a residential job and the project in-charge is responsible to stay in the sreepur project residence and upholding the organizational culture

• Any other responsibilities assign by the supervisor and need of the organization

Job Location: Sreepur, Gazipur (field visit based on need)

Supervisor: Overseas Director

Job Type: Permanent Job (6 months’ Probation Period)

Starting Date: 1st February 2025

• Monthly Salary: BDT. 70,000 to 100,000 (depends on the relevant job experiences)
