Ability to maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strategic Planning & Policy Support
· Collaborate with line manager for forward planning.
· Assist in policy decision-making to align farm and livelihood programs with organizational goals.
Financial Management
· Prepare budgets and maintain accurate financial records.
· Monitor profitability and ensure financial targets are met.
Regular Operational Management
· Organize sales and purchases of livestock, crops, and agricultural products.
· Oversee procurement of farm equipment and supplies.
· Ensure proper care and utilization of land and resources.
· Introduce modern agricultural practices, including mechanization, improved irrigation, and climate-smart farming.
· Plan and implement off-season crop production to maximize land use efficiency.
· Promote cultivation of high-value crops (vegetables, fruits, herbs, cash crops) to enhance income generation.
· Coordinate seasonal crop cycles (Rabi, Kharif-1, Kharif-2) ensuring timely preparation, planting, monitoring, and harvesting.
· Supervise livestock and poultry management (cattle, goats, ducks, poultry) ensuring proper care, feeding, and disease prevention.
· Oversee fish farming in project ponds, ensuring technical support and sustainable practices.
· Ensure proper marketing and distribution of produced goods. Supervise marketplace operations and related livelihood activities.
Administration & Human Resources Management
· Handle paperwork and maintain administrative records.
· Prepare monthly worker rosters and manage workforce scheduling.
· Recruit, train, and supervise farm workers.
· Ensure work progresses satisfactorily and resolve conflicts.
· Supervises all farm workers and resolves conflicts among staff. Exercises decision-making authority within farm operations and training programs.
Training & Capacity Building
· Deliver agricultural training to beneficiaries.
· Support mothers’ agriculture training initiatives.
· Run livelihood training programs, improve and adapt them as needed.
· Provide training on modern farming techniques, off-season cultivation, seasonal crop cycles, and high-value crop management.
· Conduct structured training on livestock, poultry, and fisheries management.
Compliance & Standards
· Ensure adherence to government regulations and health/safety standards.
· Maintain updated knowledge of pests, diseases, and agricultural best practices.
Maintenance & Infrastructure
· Organize repair and maintenance of farm property, equipment, and machinery.
Seasonal & Emergency Response
· Adapt to seasonal workload variations (harvesting, lambing, etc.).
· Respond to emergencies and ensure continuity of operations.
Innovation & Development
· Research new initiatives to modernize and standardize farm practices.
· Explore opportunities for livelihood program expansion.
· Pilot innovative agricultural methods such as hydroponics, organic farming, and integrated pest management.
Other Duties
· Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
