Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum B.Sc. Engineering (Civil/ BECM) from any Public Engineering University.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Civil Construction, Engineering
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Engineer will implement the engineering works in assigned working area according to the program and project design.
∎ This position will be responsible to design, quality assurance & quality control, supervise construction work, and technical coordination to culturally and environmentally balance.
∎ Plan and prepare budget for engineering activities, monitor the works, conduct assessment, networking and social mobilization program, and support and assist to ensure different survey, and prepare all reports and document properly in time.
∎ Feasibility study for requirement of WASH infrastructures at selected slums.
∎ Design of WASH infrastructures as required and as per Project Plan.
∎ Monitor construction works as per design.
∎ Process the construction bill payment and documentation.
∎ Establish the networking and linkage with different stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Have sufficient knowledge in design of Engineering Infrastructure like multistoried building, community toilet, bathing cubicles, septic tank, slab latrine, surface drain, closed drains, small scale road structure, and hydraulic structures.
∎ Have knowledge of preparing Technical Specification and Tender Documents.
∎ Knowledge in Computer Aided Design Software like AutoCad- 2D & 3D, Autodesk Revit, ETABS, STAAD-Pro and working proficiency with the same.
∎ Have knowledge in preparation of estimate and BOQs.
∎ Networking capacity with GOB and other NGOs.
∎ Ability to drive motorbike with valid driving license.
∎ Ability to work in different target groups.
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Ability to work in a team.
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities.
∎ Basic computer knowledge of using MS Word and MS Excel.
∎ Knowledge on supervision and quality control.
∎ Have working experience in similar work with excellent academic background.
∎ Have working experience in NGO sector.

Salary:
