∎ M. Sc / B.Sc in Civil Engineering, Civil & Environment Engineering, Water Resource, Sanitation Engineering and Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5 years relevant experience also may apply.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure that the WATSAN services (water, sanitation, hygiene and faeca l& solid waste management) in the host communities managed by NGO Forum are delivered in an efficient, equitable and accountable manner, according to UNICEF, SPHERE and national standards.
∎ Ensure successful implementation and effective management of the project activities.
∎ Assist the Deputy Project Coordinator in overall planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of the project.
∎ Drawing, design, overall supervision of different WASH infrastructures like water distribution networsk, production well, latrine, faecal& solid waste management facilities etc. construction, upgradation and rehabilitation as well as collaborative work with logistic/ procurement to support quotations collection, quotation evaluation, contractor selection, contracts signing, orders, work order issue and purchases.
∎ Technical supervision and cross checking of construction materials of WASH infrastructure before installation with specifications, drawing, design quality and quantity.
∎ Responsible for feasibility survey, design, prepare the estimation of quantities and cost detailed drawings and other necessary documents of WASH interventions.
∎ To maintain up-to-date records of all field level activities to show a status of the work, the status of construction materials, equipment at store and construction sites.
∎ Conduct regular monitoring and full technical supervision and provide technical inputs to the beneficiaries.
∎ Manage construction contract by providing engineering support during project construction and process contract change orders and design revisions.
∎ Support to stakeholders in developing and implementing the collection, emptying, transportation, treatment, disposal and re-use components.
∎ Attend various internal and external meetings regarding engineering topics or issues and respond to questions and inquiries from various individuals, groups and organizations.
∎ Perform other relevant duties as required for the project as well as the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Practical work experience in WASH sectors with WASH, FSM and SWM and work experience in Cox's bazar preferable.
∎ Ability to communicate with people in local language (Cox’s Bazaar)
∎ Medium in English (written/verbal)
∎ Team management- Ability to work under limited supervision - Dynamism - Good report writing ability - Computer skills (Have strong knowledge of AutoCAD, WaterGEMS, GIS, MS Office).
Salary: Tk. 75000 (Monthly)
