Responsibilities & Context:
Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), an apex development organization, was established by the Government of Bangladesh in 1990 for sustainable poverty reduction through employment generation. Since its inception, PKSF has been implementing various poverty-alleviating and employment-generating programs and projects through its Partner Organizations (POs) all over the country.
PKSF has been implementing a 4-year project titled ‘Extended Community Climate Change Project- Drought (ECCCP-Drought)’ financed by Green Climate Fund (GCF) since October 2023. The objective of the project is to increase resilience of the climate-vulnerable communities in drought-prone areas of Bangladesh.
