∎ Minimum of 10 years of working experience in NGOs or other Development Organizations. Minimum of three years’ experience in coordinating large projects in the education sector.
∎ § Proven track record in leading large-scale education programs, especially for marginalized groups.§ Strong understanding of educational frameworks, especially in contexts with out-of-school learners and vulnerable populations.§ Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, resource management, and team leadership.§ Experience working with government agencies, donor organizations, and local communities.§ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.§ Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.§ Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to changing priorities.§ Expertise in early childhood education and accelerated learning methodologies.§ Experience in monitoring and evaluation frameworks and data-driven decision-making.§ Strong advocacy and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is implementing Educate the Most Disadvantaged Children (EMDC) Project supported by UNICEF. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF intends to recruit project staff from qualified candidates of Bangladeshi nationals.
∎ Project Leadership and Strategy: § Lead the design and execution of the project, ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision and goals.§ Develop strategic plans, work plans, and timelines for the successful implementation of all project components.§ Provide visionary leadership and ensure the project stays on track to achieve its objectives.Program Management:§ Oversee the implementation of each component to ensure they are delivered effectively and efficiently.§ Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring proper financial management and resource allocation.§ Coordinate with relevant government bodies, NGOs, and community organizations to enhance the reach and impact of the project.Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:§ Develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework to track project progress and outcomes.§ Analyze data and insights to continuously improve program design and delivery.§ Prepare and present regular reports to donors, stakeholders, and the organization’s leadership.Team Management:§ Lead, mentor, and manage the project team, ensuring clarity of roles, strong communication, and high performance.§ Facilitate capacity-building opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy:§ Build strong relationships with government agencies, donors, local communities, and other stakeholders.§ Advocate for policies and programs that support the education of out-of-school learners.§ Represent the project at relevant forums, conferences, and meetings.Risk Management:§ Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project sustainability and success.§ Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and operational guidelines.§ Follow the organization's Child Safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Gender, and WB Policy.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Consolidated Tk. 1,12,360 per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
