Job Context:
∎ Friends In Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is implementing the Seeking A New Generations` Harmonious Association Project in Sylhet Sadar, South Surma, Osmaninagar & Biswanath Upazila under Sylhet District supported by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF). Interested candidates are requested to apply for the position:
∎ Project Duration: January 2019 to December 2021 (Could be extended as per donor requirement)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The project Coordinator will be responsible for overall leadership of the project, external communication and coordinating all project related activities. The incumbent will be play role in coordinating with related concern. Specific duties include:-
∎ To develop project activity operational guideline, module, technical papers as per project requirement
∎ Coordinate preparation & implementation of detailed activity plan
∎ Liaison with GO-NGO departments along with key stakeholder representatives
∎ Prepare periodic project reports
∎ Overall supervision & staff monitoring through frequent field visits
∎ Coordinate preparation of trainings and major project events.
∎ Regular contact with stakeholders associated with local District & Upazila administration, Department of Youths, Vocational Training Institutes and media houses.
∎ Coordinate with MJF.
∎ Facilitate staff capacity development initiatives
∎ Ensure proper utilization of financial and other project resources.
∎ Team management, knowledge sharing, facilitate meetings with project staff to regularly review program implementation and performance;
∎ Effective & efficient use of project assets & resources
∎ Any others duties assign by your supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 38 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Ability and flexibility to understand the cultural and political environment.
∎ Excellent communication skills, good spoken and writing of concise reports in English.
∎ Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure Ability to be innovative, flexible, adaptive, and willingness to work in potentially stressful and challenging environments.
∎ Strong navigational skills
∎ Should have good command in both written and spoken English.
∎ Should have excellent working knowledge of MS Office & MS Excel.
Salary: Tk. 45000 (Monthly)
