Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Resource Development Foundation (RDF) is one of the largest nationwide development organizations (NGO) in Bangladesh. RDF is a distinguished development organization with a core mission to advance sustainable agriculture, enhance food security, and promote economic empowerment. The organization’s vision is tailored to address the complex challenges encountered by communities, especially in regions that are highly susceptible to the adverse effects of climate change. RDF has demonstrated committed dedication to improving the quality of life for marginalized populations, such as women and youth, through meticulously planned interventions and strategic partnerships. By leveraging local and national strategies, RDF ensures that its programs are effective, scalable, and sustainable, fostering resilience and self-sufficiency in the communities it serves. The organization is going to implement  5 (Five) years (1st March 2025 to 30 September 2029) Girls Get Equal 2.0: Realising rights and building resilience project an integrated approaches to end child early & force marriage (CEFM) project funded by NORAD.  Girls Get Equal 2.0: Realising rights and building resilience project will be implemented in Pathogata & Bamna Upazila of Barguna District in partnership with Plan International Bangladesh. RDF invites applications from the competent and qualified persons for the following positions. Female candidate are highly encouraged to apply
∎ Project Coordinator will be responsible for implementing project interventions at the community and Upazila levels. S/he is responsible for monitoring program quality and documentation for the Pathoghta and Bamna Upazila (Sub-district). S/he will advocate for strengthening the community based child protection through networking and collaboration with relevant civil society organizations, duty bearers and other institutions at the Upazila levels.
∎ Delivers project interventions for achieving annual objectives and targets for the Pathoghta and Bamna Upazila.
∎ Monitors program implementation in Unions for achieving results.
∎ Supervises and provides supports to the Union Coordinators Social Empowerment of the Pathoghta and Bamna Upazila for developing their plans and rolling them out.
∎ Develops/nurtures protection network at Upazila level for resource mobilization.
∎ Ensures compliance with the Gender and Safeguarding policies in implementing the project; works as the Child Safeguarding Focal point for keeping children safe during project implementation.
∎ Manages performance of all team members and develops their capacity.
∎ Reports to the Chief Executive Officer of the organization and based in Pathoghta and Bamna Upazila.
