  • Management of major risks (safeguarding, fraud & corruption, security and major financial risks)
  • At least 5-7 years experience in project Management, a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant professional
  • Experience in Project Cycle Management includes budget and HR management (direct and indirect team management)
  • Ability to work under high pressure and Excellent interpersonal communication and networking skills.
  • Undertake any additional responsibility assigned by the Executive director as and when required.
  • Work under the supervision of assigned person of Heifer International and BASA Foundation.
  • As per the organizational policy and projects allocated budget.


Responsibilities & Context:

Project Coordinator Responsibility:

  • Over all administration & Management of the Project (Planning & monitoring backstopping coordination).
  • Support to project team to implement new program model of Heifer International Bangladesh align with Food System.
  • Staff capacity assessment & development through training coaching & monitoring & exposure visit.
  • Use Heifer International Bangladesh VBHCD model as powerful tool for community development in project funded by heifer International & others.
  • Budget preparation, revisions and utilizing budget as per plan and align with guidelines
  • Follow up support to Self Help Group(SHG) fund information & Resource mobilization/Leveraging at local level through different innovative approaches.
  • Follow up SHG, CF, Community Agro-Veterinary Entrepreneur (CAVE) & project management committee on a regular basis.
  • Visit household, CMC, SHG meeting and provide require support to project team and cooperative staffs.
  • Facilitate in PMC planning & PSRP follow up quarterly.
  • Develop project information database with regular update.

Planning and implementation

  • Ensure the implementation of the project, is in line with the logical framework and allocated budget
  • Ensure the effective planning, resource utilization, mobilization and timely implement the project activities as per the action plan.
  • Ensure project reporting to the donor and relevant sectors timely.
  • Ensure the proper implementation and follow up of organizational and donor policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all compliance, risk identification and mitigation for organization and by the project funding body
  • Coordinating in project planning, Implementation, budget preparation, 100% of budget utilization & revision if necessary.
  • Facilitate monthly coordination/project review meeting with set of agendas and objectives.
  • Facilitate the advisory committee meetings and other required meetings with GoB, pub and private sectors.

Ensure project monitoring, evaluation, learning and reporting

  • Project Information Management & reporting to project partner office, Heifer Regional Office and country office.
  • Ensure project monitoring, specifically activity progress indicators and the expected outcomes.
  • Implement the details Implementation plan(DIP) within the resource.
  • Prepare all activities report on regular basis submit it to BASA & Heifer.
  • Ensure overall monitoring, supportive supervision and process documentation.
  • Facilitate in the process of market study action research & field visit by heifer & partner.

Strongly coordination & communication with local value chain actors, privet sectors & organize meetings as per project need.

  • Coordinate with finance person on financial record keeping & reporting on a regular basis to country and regional office.
  • Networking with relevant stakeholders to endure technical support to livestock, Agriculture, safe food including making communication of progress & success stories through various media.
