Job Context:
∎ Partners in Health and Development (PHD) with support from SCI-Bangladesh is implementing a project titled `Health Care to FDMN under DFAT III` in Ukhiya of Cox`s Bazar District. As part of emergency response, the project provides Health, Nutrition and support on Mental Health to Rohingya community through establishing Health Posts (HPs) in camp 17 and 18 in Ukhiya. In order to fill-up a vacant position of Project Coordinator (PC), PHD inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill-up the vacant position.
∎ Being a leader of the project, the Project Coordinator (PC) is solely responsible to develop, lead, monitor and evaluate the assigned health project ensuring support from staff, management agencies, donor and other stakeholders. This position demands effective management and reporting on the projects in line with the objectives, timeframe and budget with a focus on quality of care. Other important aspects of the role include managing and training primary health care staff to meet international quality standards in health care delivery, encouraging beneficiary participation, liaising with other stakeholders, and anticipating, planning, and contributing to the development of new health project proposals and reports.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project coordinator (PC) will be responsible in day-to-day implementation, management and monitoring the project;
∎ Develop detailed implementation plan to monitor and track work progress by governing human and other resources.
∎ Lead the project to ensure that the project deliverables of the project produced in time with quality within stipulated scope and resources;
∎ Identify the capacity gaps and providing technical assistance and capacity building to the project staff to ensure the work plan is implemented within budget and in the prescribed time period.
∎ Participate in meetings and reviews and undertake monitoring missions to assess progress of implementation, including baseline and end line assessments, field monitoring visits, Health Sector coordination meetings and other relevant partners' forums.
∎ Identify gaps and priority areas of work in implementation, proposing reasonable review and recommendations for adjustment of activities where necessary.
∎ Maintain close coordination with SCI Cox's Bazar team and other Actors supporting emergency response including RRRC, Health Sector Coordination Committee, respective CICs and Health and Family Planning Department of the District.
∎ Prepare monthly reports, quarterly reports and case studies and review other reports.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum five years of experience within the development / humanitarian sector specially in middle or higher-level positions in NGO or in private sector
∎ Well aware of public health system and ability to work in close collaboration of the government counterpart.
∎ Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
∎ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
∎ Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
∎ Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
∎ Ability to work on tight deadlines.

Salary:
∎ BDT 120,000/per month (Tax will be deducted at source)
