Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsibility for project implementation and financial management;
∎ To formulate strategy & guidance in programme design and implementation;
∎ Facilitate M&E process and conduct project performance monitoring;
∎ Prepare periodic reports for donors and the senior management team;
∎ Maintaining effective communication with different level stakeholders, government, media, NGOs and CSO networks;
∎ Facilitate the capacity-building process for the CSOs;
∎ Maintaining the compliance of the government, donors, and the organization; and
∎ Represent Nagorik Uddyog to the theme-based forum, alliances, and networks.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Understanding of women's rights and the gender mainstreaming process
∎ Working experience in the field of human rights, social mobilization, advocacy and campaign
∎ At least 4 years of experience in the development/ NGO sector (preferably in the same position)
∎ Sound IT literacy with the skill to operate MS Office and good typing speed in Bengali and English
∎ Fluent in speaking and writing both English and Bangla
∎ The position is based in Dhaka with regular field visits in the project areas
∎ Candidate should have leadership, supervision, communication and staff management capacity
∎ Female candidates are encouraged to apply
Salary: Tk. 50000 - 55000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Weekly 2 holidays
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Festival Bonus: 2
∎ Two yearly bonuses (equivalent to one month's salary)
∎ Costs in relation to any fieldwork will be borne by the organization
