Job Context:
∎ Manab Kallyan Parished-MKP, a Non-Government Organization is looking for a dynamic Project Coordinator for the project "Strengthening Young and Adult Peace Multipliers in Bangladesh (AHIMSA)" funded by the zivik and NETZ-Bangladesh
∎ Job Location: Anywhere of Dinajpur district with frequent field in the project area
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead a project implementation team
∎ Provide conceptual and strategic guidance to the team members on Conflict Transformation, peace building, non-violent approaches and as a network for civil society actors.
∎ Monitor and ensure quality standard in implementation of the planned activities in time of the project.
∎ Lead administrative and financial management related issues of the project.
∎ Ensure optimum and efficient use of project resources.
∎ Ensure proper formation of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) at Union, Upazila and District level, student forums and capacitating them on conflict transformation, peace building.
∎ Organise and facilitate local and regional meeting, workshops and seminar with CSOs, young HRDs and Public authorities on conflict transformation, peace building.
∎ Establish formal or non-formal linkage/network with community, local authority, government officials, local elites and other organizations through repeated interaction.
∎ Prepare periodical (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly) factual report of the project and document good practices.
∎ Provide support to conduct different research and study under the project
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' experience in leading managing and implementing project on human rights especially indigenous people rights.
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Must have the mentality to work with indigenous people.
∎ Knowledge on conflict transformation, peace building, human rights, gender equality.
∎ Knowledge on target group selection from disadvantaged communities and formation of CSO, CS Alliance, student forum, theatre groups etc.
∎ Able to make effective plan and optimum utilization of available resources
∎ Able to drive motor cycle with valid driving license and frequent field visit
∎ Knowledge on context analysis, data analysis, MIS and evaluation process
∎ Knowledge on general administration, project and financial management
∎ Must have efficiency in supervision of field staff, facilitation of meetings.
∎ Able to develop training modules, its collection, preservation and dissemination.
∎ Good analytical skill and ability to work under pressure
∎ Able to prepare factual result oriented reports
∎ Computer literacy on MS Word, Excel, Power point and more
∎ Awareness and sensitivity regarding gender issues and respect for diversity
Salary: Tk. 42000 - 45000 (Monthly)
