Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline from any recognized university.
∎ Any third division/class/GPA less than 2.5 in academic career is not eligible.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Project Name: A Path to the Phased Elimination of Malaria from Bangladesh.
∎ Job Location: Chakoria Upazila, Cox`s Bazar District.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning:
∎ Prepare monthly action plan to oversee programme implementation.
∎ Implementation:
∎ Organize awareness events e.g. orientation on malaria prevention and control,
∎ village doctor orientation, special health camp etc. as per guideline.
∎ Assists in proper distribution of LLIN, organize sessions before LLIN distribution
∎ Ensure early diagnosis and prompt treatment and follow-up of patient
∎ Ensure referral of complicated patient to upazila health complex or other facilities
∎ Ensure using of LLIN among beneficiaries and population level
∎ Ensure regular drugs and diagnostics supply to health workers
∎ Assists upazila manager for timely, completely and accurate reporting as per MIS guideline
∎ Monitoring, Supervision & coordination:
∎ Supervise and visit Health Worker/Project Assistant routinely, verify the registers and update their programme knowledge accordingly.
∎ Conduct household visit and monitor LLIN use
∎ performs any other responsibilities as required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 1 year working experience in any health care project
∎ Ability to work with government and development partner
∎ Ability to work independently and in a team
∎ Adequate knowledge in health and social structures of Bangladesh
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skill
∎ Good oral and written communication skill
∎ Valid motorcycle license and willingness to drive motorcycle
∎ Not exceeding 35 years (Age may be flexible in case of experienced staff)
Salary: Tk. 31713 (Monthly)
