Job Purpose:
The Program Organiser at BRAC Retail Sales, Apprenticeship - will be responsible for Learner survey & Admission regularly for batch to batch Handicraft training & Creating Job linkage bridge as per project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct community outreach and awareness meetings to disseminate project information among job seekers and engage parents, with a focus on promoting female participation in the retail sector.
Identify and select learners for apprenticeship-based training through structured surveys, ensuring at least 50% female representation by applying inclusive and gender-sensitive approaches.
Organize and manage training batches in alignment with the training calendar by coordinating logistics, mobilizing learners, and maintaining a conducive learning environment.
Monitor trainee attendance and progress, and carry out home visits to support irregular students and minimize dropout through continuous engagement and counseling.
Facilitate workplace readiness by ensuring Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, maintaining proper signage, and enforcing relevant rules and regulations at the training center.
Maintain accurate records and documentation, including learner databases, training registers, and material demand analyses, in compliance with project requirements.
Ensure job placement for at least 80% of graduates in the local market by creating strong linkages with employers and regularly following up with placed candidates.
Coordinate and support entrepreneurship development activities by assisting learners in setting up small ventures and tracking progress post-training.
Prepare and submit monthly progress reports and initiate timely payment processes by collecting center data and following financial and administrative procedures.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Education, or any related field.
Experience Requirement:
Minimum 1 year of experience in youth engagement, event coordination, or education/career development programs (internships or voluntary experiences will be considered).
