Educational Requirements:
∎ Completed Masters or equivalent from an accredited academic institution, preferably in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public health, Early childhood Development with significant (2-6 years) in-country experience.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide both technical and managerial support to review and develop ECCD for nutrition focused materials, review the existing materials on related topics and prepare guidelines along with programme strategies.
∎ Build monitoring tools, checklists and guidelines with a focus on the implementation strategies to ensure effective implementation of the programme.
∎ Review analytical reports and document monthly/quarterly reports according to the programme implementation strategies. In addition, with assistance of Nutrition Officer, the manager will support the finance team in expenditure forecast, review and modify the budget according to the project guidelines.
∎ Undertake frequent field visit, monitor and evaluate the implementation of specific activities under existing partnerships for ECCD to ensure that activities and deliverables are met on time and as per the set standards.
∎ Ensure that the learnings of the project effectively influence the national plan of action focusing on the integration of ECCD with M@W programme goals in collaboration with UNICEF and external stakeholders.
∎ Undertake any other duties assigned by the Senior Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Significant (2-6 years) in-country experience.
∎ Strong leadership, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of working in achieving operational change in the area of ECCD and Nutrition.
∎ Proven experience of working with public/private sector for economic involvement, specifically on the private sector.
∎ Ability to build effective relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and different levels of seniority.
∎ Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and see and act upon opportunities and build network and partnerships.
∎ Demonstrable people and budget management skills.
∎ Clear knowledge and understanding about the national and international process of early childhood development (ECD) and Nutrition, protocols, instruments which preserving and protecting working mother rights.
∎ Good communication, facilitation and representation skills.
