Job Context:
∎ Duration: Contract will be up to 30th June 2024.
∎ Position Title: Project Supervisor (PS)) ‘Protection, Nutrition, and Education Support to Children of Garment Workers (PRoNE to Children)’ project
Job Responsibilities:
∎ She will devote 100% of her time to this project
∎ Her main responsibilities will be to carry out the field level works of the project.
∎ Assist in daycare guideline development.
∎ Assists in the Day care center setup in Gazipur and Savar areas.
∎ To visit on a regular basis the DCCs; to recruit the caregivers and teachers according to specific selection criteria.
∎ She will develop all kinds of learning materials for the Day care center.
∎ Record and preserve all kinds of documents.
∎ Provides supervision, leadership, and guidance to the DCC caregivers and teachers.
∎ Monitors DCC centers Caregivers and teachers daily to ensure according to the routine with the Child Care and Early Years Act.
∎ Conduct and support CREDI and IDELA assessment.
∎ This includes ensuring a safe environment is provided for children in terms of their physical, emotional, and cognitive development
∎ To arrange monthly parents’ meetings and communicate with parents to deal with questions or issues that arise.
∎ Prepare a report and submit it to the authority.
∎ Guides and assists children in activities, routines, and transition times
∎ Oversees general maintenance and repairs
∎ Updates schedules and timetables regularly
∎ Arranges for replacement staff as needed
∎ Ensures recording of observations and assessments on children’s progress and behavior
∎ To coordinate with the accounts department to ensure the smooth operation of the project; data collection; record keeping and result based management of DCCs.
∎ To arrange quarterly CMC meetings and maintain good contacts with the center area community people for establishing and sustaining the center management committees (CMCs).
∎ Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ 3-5 Years practical experience in the relevant field.
