Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s degree from reputed university and preferably in English/ Sociology/ social science, development and humanitarian studies, social work, or any other relevant subject area.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Duration: Contract will be up to 30th June 2024.
∎ Position Title: Project Manager (PM) ‘Protection, Nutrition, and Education Support to Children of Garment Workers (PRoNE to Children)’ project
∎ Job Location: Phulki HQ, Bashundhara R/A and Gazipur & Saver
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The PM will 100% of her/his time to this project.
∎ She/ he will be responsible to prepare project plan & budget, maintain communication with the donor.
∎ Ensure supportive supervision to the team to achieve the project objectives.
∎ Conduct field visit as per need, keep proper documentation to make visible the project outcomes.
∎ Play lead role to develop annual plan, periodic report, documentation of learning, case study and relevant documents as per organizational and donor requirements.
∎ Plan, implement and monitor budget and take proactive measures to keep the burn rate as an expected level.
∎ Identify strengths and weakness of the inputs and take necessary corrective measures.
∎ Support the project team in carrying out designated works.
∎ Coordinate with the accounts department to ensure the smooth operation of the project.
∎ Authorize the purchase and advance requisition of the project.
∎ Play role as communication focal for donor.
∎ Arrange training programs, meetings with management committees, other partner NGOs and different other stakeholders including LGI, Garments owners, government officials/agencies etc.
∎ Lead local level advocacy efforts and support in national level advocacy
∎ Coordinate with the visitor, evaluation, and/or audit teams.
∎ Take any necessary steps with consent of the Phulki authority and the Donors in cases of emergency needs of the project.
∎ Project manager is responsible for the smooth operation of the project by ensuring proper monitoring and supervision.
∎ Project manager is also responsible to conduct other works assigned by the CEO and Executive Director.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Monitoring, Program Officer/Manager, Project Coordinator/ Officer, Research, Supervision
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO
∎ Excellent English/ Bangla language skills.
∎ Excellent communication and influencing skills.
∎ Computer skills on MS word, Excel, Power point.
∎ Proven track record of project management and excellent project finance management skills.
∎ Excellent relationship management skills.
∎ At least three (05) years of experience in the area of project management in relevant sector.
∎ Professional qualification in project management will be an added advantage.
