Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure programme/ project plans and schedules are followed, developing solutions to programme/project challenges, and directing others for successful completion of projects on time and on budget
∎ Oversee all project activities and be the main contact point for the donor, government and other stakeholders.
∎ Facilitate project implementation with the collaboration of Community Empowerment Programme (CEP) and Human Rights and Legal Aid Services (HRLS)
∎ Help programme/project team and other stakeholders define, communicate and drive the strategic vision and goal of the programme
∎ Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of BRAC and partners the donors.
∎ Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of programme/project deliverables, lead project planning, budgeting, action plans and monitoring processes.
∎ Advice on 'best practice' approach to all aspects of programme and project management which is practical and result focused.
∎ Ensure close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partners/BRAC departments/GoB ministries and NGOS, INGO's to guarantee smooth implementation of Cross-border trafficking networks project activities and achievement of results as specified in grant agreements
∎ Ensuring project plans, specifications, roles and responsibilities and the necessary communications are defined and completed to standard within the programme framework
∎ Responsible for submitting activity reports, meeting minutes and financial reports on regular basis to BRAC and donor
∎ Work closely with team members to provide training on strategic initiatives, project operation, problem solving, prioritization of work and improving quality thereby
∎ Troubleshoot programme/project problems, launch initiatives to reduce operational costs and defects, identify and implement creative solutions.
∎ Develop and evaluate the tools and techniques used by the project to manage the project
∎ Mentoring team members by sharing tips and techniques
∎ Facilitate project team and others to identify project requirements and ensure they align with programme objectives
∎ Advice other managers to execute all existing project successfully.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 6 years' experience in the development field including project management
∎ Knowledge on Project cycle management; monitoring and evaluation; conceptual understanding of development and migration issues
∎ Have skills on planning; problem solving; decision-making; project proposal writing; report writing; budgeting
∎ Have competencies on leadership; communication; coordinating; creativity and inattentiveness
