Education:
∎ Degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputed university. A minimum CGPA of 3.50 is required, which can be relaxed in case of candidates having relevant job experience;
∎ Partly qualified accounting professionals of recognized accounting body (CA / CIMA / CMA) are preferred;

∎ Experience with focus on financial management and accounting in NGOs;
∎ Proficient in MS Excel and excellent working knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office, Outlook, etc;
∎ A good written and oral communication skill both in English and Bangla;
∎ Excellent interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Process payment efficiently and keep vouchers in safe custody
∎ Work independently for maintaining books of accounts through computerized accounting software
∎ Prepare monthly bank account reconciliation statement
∎ Prepare budget with justification notes and budget variance analysis with justification notes
∎ Assist to prepare of monthly, quarterly and annually financial statements
∎ Prepare FD6 and relevant documents for submission to NGO Affairs Bureau and relevant Government Offices to obtain project approval and clearance of funds
∎ Liaise with external auditor for finalisation of audit reports
∎ Prepare tax and VAT returns and submit to the NBR
∎ Maintain and manage petty cash
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
∎ The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) invites applications from promising professionals (for the position of Programme Associate-Finance and Accounts) who will assist the Director, Administration and Finance.
∎ Key functions and responsibilities will include:
∎ Process payment efficiently and keep vouchers in safe custody
∎ Work independently for maintaining books of accounts through computerized accounting software

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ A gross salary starting from Taka 35,000 per month will be offered to successful candidate, along with other admissible benefits. Actual compensation package will be based on assessment of the candidate's qualifications and suitability, including experience.
