Additional Requirements: - Graduation /Post-Graduation in any relevant subject
- At least 2 years of relevant experience;
- Knowledge and experience working with children focusing 3 – 18 years.
- Knowledge of safety issues concerning children and adolescent;
- Knowledge of child protection and Psycho-Social support programming;
- Good command of English, both written and oral;
- Good command of Chitagonian language is highly appreciable;
- Skill of photography
- Proficient with MS office suite
- Good interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity;
- Creative and able to come up, embrace and coordinate innovative thinking, and problem solving skills;
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn;
- Ability to cope and work under pressure;
- Computer literate mainly in Microsoft Office package;
- Well-organized, self-motivated and ability to work in a team;
- Ability to work in difficult and high risk situations;
- Position requires availability and willingness to work outside regular office hours occasionally;

Responsibilities & Context: Project Context:
- FIVDB is going to implement a potential project “Education Cannot Wait (ECW)- Bangladesh” with the support of the International Rescue Committee – IRC for both the Host and Rohingya communities in Bangladesh. The project is going to support children aged 3 – 18 years to ensure access and quality support of educational activities in the mentioned community, along with other focuses like inclusion, children with disabilities, and gender.
Purpose of Position:
- The Program Support Officer will be responsible for supporting the project team with logistics and other administrative facilities as required. He/she will also be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of the training or education materials/equipment through coordinating with the project team members, facilitators, teachers, and vendors according to the project plan and timeline.
Reporting:
- Program Support Officer will report to the Project Coordinator. S/He has to maintain a functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams, and the organization’s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units, both program and operational of the organization
Major Responsibilities:
- Ensure training/learning session requirements in the community-based learning facilities, ECD centers, and acceleration learning program facilities through coordinating with Technical Officer and Project Assistant.
- Prepare a plan for learning facilities or equipment distribution in the learning facilities as per the project plan.
- Record the progress of learning sessions in the facilities according to the project plan.
- Prepare expense or inventory reports on the learning sessions facilitated, materials or equipment distributed, and submit to project management.
- Coordinate logistics activities related to procurement, funding, substantive units, and humanitarian affairs in the different types of learning facilities under the project.
- Provide incentives to the camp and host facilitators as per their contribution to the project facilities.
- Develop reports on material and personnel movements and various operational logistics problems in community-based learning facilities, ECD centers, and ALP facilities in both host and refugee communities.
- Carry out packing, crating, warehousing, and storage duties in preparation for facilities-specific program.
- Responsible for tracking, receiving, and stocking all items procured for the project facilities.
- Ensure materials are appropriately stored in the warehouse/learning facilities.
- Program the final inventory of materials prior to transaction in the store room.
- Provide a list of all equipment moved from the storage sites to the transaction sites to the designated facilities.
- Responsible for supervising and accounting for inventory in the learning facilities.
