Tdh focuses its action on the following areas of intervention: health, nutrition, WASH and protection of particularly vulnerable children. ∎ Tdh has been working for children in Bangladesh since 1974. In order to meet the needs of our beneficiaries, our main strategic priorities are health, nutrition, WASH, DRR and child protection programming.
∎ Following the massive displacement of more than 688,000 people into Bangladesh since end of August 2017, Tdh has provided and continues to provide humanitarian assistance to Rohingya and host communities in Cox`s Bazar and Teknaf.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ General responsibilities:
∎ The Program Quality (PQ) Manager will lead program quality, grants management and business development efforts. S/he will also support country program strategic planning, program management and oversight, donor cultivation and relations, representation, and monitoring and evaluation activities, as needed. S/he will work in close coordination with all Program and Support Departments, Field Offices in Cox's Bazar, Teknaf and Dhaka, and HQ.
∎ Main responsibilities:
∎ 1. Program Quality
∎ Develop and apply program quality standards across all projects, including but not limited to, alignment of internal and external tools and/or development of tools
∎ Facilitate and strengthen coordination within and between Program/Technical Departments; Support Departments; Field Offices; HQ

∎ Support and align Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning practices, tools and policies across projects, with guidance from M&E Manager and team
∎ Plan and lead capacity building and staff development indicatives with program and support staff, as needed to Support implementation of needs assessments and other evaluations of Support development of strategic plan(s) for sectors and country program, in collaboration with Program/Technical Coordinators, Field Coordinators, Head of Program and Head of Emergency Operations/Country Representative
∎ 2. Program Management
∎ Track and assure project management cycle across all projects, including project launch, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, closeout, reporting and more to Facilitate and strengthen coordination across all projects/sectors
∎ Support program oversight, with guidance from Head of Programs
∎ 3. Grants Management
∎ Track and assure grants management cycle across all grants
∎ Review, relay and assurance proper donor compliance and needs across Program and Support Departments o Support quality report development
∎ Ensure internal and external/donor reports are developed, reviewed and submitted on a timely basis
∎ Support donor communication, as needed
∎ 4. Business Development / Resource Mobilization
∎ Lead preposition efforts, including intelligence gathering, donor cultivation, donor relations and capture planning
∎ Develop quality concept notes and proposals, and support development of budgets for submissions to donors, in collaboration with Program/Technical Coordinators, Field Coordination and Head of Programs o Support representation of country program, in collaboration with Head of Programs and Head of Emergency Operations/Country Representative, as needed
∎ 5. Other
∎ Support development of communications materials, such as fact sheets, organizational profiles, etc. o Ensure visibility required are met, in collaboration with donors, Programs and Support Departments to Support partnership development and strategy to Assure utilization of internal tools and software (OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
∎ Minimum 3 years of experience working in an international NGO, with at least 2 of these in a management capacity
∎ Minimum 1 year of experience in Cox's Bazar is desirable o Demonstrated experience in program quality, program management/project cycle management, grants management, donor compliance and reporting, and monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning
∎ Demonstrated experience in proposal coordination and writing, business development/resource mobilization, and donor cultivation and relationship management, including successful track record of securing funding from high-level UN, foreign governments and other donors
∎ Track record of international humanitarian and development experience in the following sectors: health, nutrition, WASH, DRR and/or child protection programming
∎ Experience strengthening capacity of staff
∎ Qualities/Skills:
∎ Required: autonomous, organized, flexible, proactive, rigorous, analytical, multi-tasker, diplomacy, communication skills
∎ Languages:
∎ Excellent verbal and written skills in English
∎ Child protection policy:
∎ To commit to respect Tdh Risk Management Policies including: Child Protection Policy, Safety and Security Policy and Anti-Fraud/Corruption Policy, Whistle Blowing Policy o To commit to ensure the best implementation possible of the Tdh Risk Management Policies in Bangladesh o To commit to inform supervisors and to deal with any cases, allegations, or possibility of transgression, even potential, of the Tdh Risk Management Policies
Salary: Tk. 150000 - 170000 (Monthly)
