∎ Program Officer: Jatio Nari Nirjaton Protirodh Forum (JNNPF) Funded by ActionAid Bangladesh
∎ Mukti Nari-O-Shishu Unnayan Sangstha looking an enthusiastic Program officer for Jatio Nari Nirjaton Protirodh Forum (JNNPF).
∎ The overall objective of the position is to manage the project overall. The position requires Support GBV survivors, reduce VAW cases, and building the confidence of the GBV survivors, through psychosocial care support of the survivors, networking with GOB and the private sector, capacity building of the SVAW network members, and organize awareness program, advocacy, and campaign in the local level and national level.
∎ The objective of the position is to build networking with GO & NGO actors for WR campaign issues of JNNPF, capacity building of SVAW network members on GBV, Case management, referral pathway, VAW related Law, Networking, and advocacy.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key responsibilities include (not limited to)
∎ 1: Support to SVAW Network
∎ 1.1: Overall support to strengthen SVAW Networks
∎ 1.2: Capacity development of the SVAW network members
∎ 1.3: Organize quarterly meetings of the networks
∎ 1.4: Visit SVAW Activity in the field level
∎ 1.5: Support to SVAW networks to coordination with GOB SVAW community in Union, Upazala and district level.
∎ 1.6: Support to SVAW network to develop Capacity of the GOB SVAW community
∎ 2: Partnership Management
∎ 2.1: Maintain coordination with SVAW networks for planning, implementation, and monitoring of issues-based programme interventions on VAW issues.
∎ 2.2: Ensure audit compliance
∎ 2.3: Ensure original bill voucher
∎ 2.4: Collect the bill voucher from SVAW network, prepare financial report and submit to donor.
∎ 3: Organizing training, workshop, Seminar
∎ 3.1: Organize executive committee and AGM of the JNNPF.
∎ 3.2: Organize facilitate workshop, Seminar, press conference and Roundtable discussion meeting on SVAW issue.
∎ 3.3: Collect various training materials and develop a training kit on SVAW issue
∎ 3.4: Facilitate training on gender and development, leadership, SVAW and SR, HR issues.
∎ 4: Documentation and reporting
∎ 4.1: Collect data on VAW cases from SVAW network and prepare an analysis report and share with AAB and SVAW networks .
∎ 4.2: Prepare case study on VAW issues
∎ 4.3: Prepare field visit report, half yearly and annual report,
∎ 4.4: Prepare meeting minutes and report of workshop JNNPF and SVAW networks
∎ 4.5: Documentation of SVAW related resource materials
∎ 5: Facilitate JNNPF
∎ 5.1: Prepare plans and budget
∎ 5.2: Coordination with EC community of the JNNPF
∎ 5.3: Review the progress and working strategies and reformulate as required in consultation with Executive director and the donor.
∎ 5.4: Communicate and develop strong network with Govt. NGO, and other agencies and stakeholders.
∎ 6: Support fund raising
∎ 6.1: Prepare a draft of expression of Interest, concept note, and proposal on SVAW issues.
∎ 6.2: Support to donor to compile information from SVAW networks
∎ 6.3: Explore opportunities both at national and international to raise small fund for Network
∎ 6.4: Regular communication with donor
∎ 7: Support to SVAW case management
∎ 7.1: Provide Legal advice to the SVAW networks to support the VAW case
∎ 7.2: Support to link with legal aid organization
∎ 7.3: Monitor case management in the field level Guide supervisee to prepare action plan, provide feedback if required, Regular meeting, follow-up, and coaching
∎ 7.4: Support to organize social movement for the proper investigation and trial of the VAW case.
∎ 7.5: Support to SVAW network to explore government fund for the VAW case
∎ 7.6: provide psychosocial support to the VAW survivors
∎ Relationships
∎ Program officer will report to Chairperson of the JNNPF and Senior program officer of ActionAid Bangladesh.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' working experience including three years in managerial positions in INGO or equivalent
∎ Understanding on field level programme implementation
∎ Excellent spoken and written English language skills and the capacity to produce quality reports
∎ independently
∎ Gender sensitive and familiar with humanitarian principles, Human Rights Based Approach
∎ Able to take decisions in a timely manner, prioritize and multi-task seamlessly.
∎ Ability to work under extreme pressure and meet deadlines.
∎ Team player with experience in multi-cultural and multi-ethnic environments.
∎ Data management, Proficient with MS office suite

Salary:
∎ Salary and benefits: Monthly Gross Salary will be BDT. 28000 with other admissible benefits such as mobile & internet allowance, festival bonus etc.
