Job Context:
∎ Ambala Foundation is a national level NGO and has been working to improve the livelihood of poor and marginalized communities of Bangladesh through increasing their voices, capacities and realization of their rights. Ambala Foundation had awarded a three year project from January 2019 to December 2021 by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) with financial assistance from DFID. This project will promote the rights of 13100 fisher community people of Gopalgonj district by engaging civil society, government duty bearers and other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Contract duration: 1 Years 09 Months (With strong possibility of extension of project)
∎ Contract type: Full time
∎ Job Location: Gopalgonj (Kotalipara & Tungipara Upazila)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Job experience at least 3 years in same position preferably in Human Rights project.
∎ Priority will be given to the candidates who have experience in working with Fisher Community People.
∎ Good knowledge of humanitarian contexts.
∎ Keeping strong coordination with donors and local governmental authorities at field level.
∎ Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-point). Should have the ability to conduct several statistical analysis and online data entry.
∎ Good reporting skills in English
∎ Willingness to visit field frequently.
∎ Experience on use of various type of monitoring tools for impact assessment.
∎ Wiliness to drive motor cycle and should have valid driving license.
Salary:
∎ BDT. 30,000/- plus other benefits according to the policy.
