Job Context:
∎ Family Planning Association of Bangladesh (FPAB), an affiliate of International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), is the oldest and largest non-government organization of its kind in Bangladesh. Established in 1953, it pioneered the family planning movement in the country.
∎ FPAB aims to improve the quality of lives of individuals, by campaigning for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) through advocacy and services, especially for poor and vulnerable people.
∎ Family Planning Association of Bangladesh (FPAB) is seeking applications for this position.
∎ Family Planning Association of Bangladesh (FPAB) is hereby inviting application for the position of Program Manager of FIND and UNITAID funded COVID19 Test and Treat Advocacy project. The Prime responsibility of the Program Manager will be the overall project management. The Program Manager will provide substantial technical and operational guidance to all branches for successful and timely implementation of project activities maintaining highest quality slandered. She/he should have to be an expert in advocacy in health and will represent FPAB in different forums. She/he will maintain meaningful working relations with DGHS and other stakeholders working in COVID response in Bangladesh. This will be a full-time engagement up to the project period.
∎ Job Location: FPAB National Head Quarter
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing the project especially focused to COVID19 Test and Treat Advocacy
∎ Provide substantial technical and operational guidance to FPAB branch offices its service delivery points for successful implementation of the project
∎ Capacity building of the relevant staff members on promoting benefits of COVID19 testing and treatment among targeted communities and related advocacy.
∎ Provide technical input and guide the production of IEC materials and their effective use and related advocacy initiatives at different levels
∎ Monitor the quality of implementation, performance monitoring and budget monitoring
∎ Process documentation, donor reporting and maintain regular communication with the donor.
∎ Support the advocacy in COVID19 test and treat and maintain effective liaison with GoB counterpart and relevant stakeholders to ensure coordinated approaches in COVID response in FPAB's catchments areas
∎ Project close out as per the donor requirements
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven expertise in project management
∎ Clear understanding about ongoing COVID response in Bangladesh.
∎ Min of 5 yrs of experience working in development sector, specifically on SRHR issues
∎ A high level of proficiency in Bangla and English
∎ Demonstrated expertise in conducting advocacy in health
∎ Experiences working closely with different Directorates under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare especially DGHS
∎ Medical degree along with Masters in Public Health (MPH) having knowledge in DHI are preferred
