Job Context:
∎ Location: Muslim Hands International Bangladesh Country Office with frequently visit fields and project offices
∎ Duration: One-year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance (3 months` probation) of assigned roles and responsibilities
∎ Start Date: Immediately
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Will work with program team under technical guidance of Partnership Development Advisor (PDA) and in coordination with Sr. Project Manager and accountability to Country Manager. Key responsibilities of Program Development Officer include but limited to:
∎
∎ Work in a team to support sustainable growth with quality of programs
∎ Development of new programs/projects through research, study, analysis, consultation, learning from existing program and program by others, etc.
∎ Writing various Expression of Interest, project concept papers, proposals, RFA, etc.
∎ Work in a team to prepare project planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation for quality assurance
∎ Work closely with Partnership development advisor to prepare donors' mapping, updating, tracking of potential funding opportunities and seeking funds
∎ Actively work in the team to mobilize resources for humanitarian assistance and development program
∎ Participate for Partnership development with different donor/development agencies.
∎ Support PDA in capacity building of MHI team in program development and fund raising
∎ Report writing
∎ Internal and external coordination with relevant stakeholders.
∎ Any other assignment given by the PDA and Supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Shall have at least 5 years working experiences in program development, resource mobilization from donors/ development agencies; development of various instruments like EoI, Concept note, Project Proposal, RFA, etc. to seek solicited and unsolicited fund, development of various communication and promotional materials for program marketing. Shall have clear knowledge and understanding about global and National development context in line with SDGs, donors' priorities, national plans, strategies and priorities.
∎ Shall very good writing and communication skills in English with articulation and presentation of program/project to donor's/development agencies and other stakeholders. High level competencies to use ICT for all sorts of data base, documentation, communication. Shall have strong report writing skills with due understanding of donor's requirement and for quality assurance. Shall have presentation skills using PowerPoint and other software.
∎ Interpersonal relationship, working in team approach, ready to visit field 40% of assigned duties. Coping with work pressure and managing multi-tasks assignment as and when is necessary
