  • Minimum 03 years of relevant professional experience including at least 02 years’ experience in TVET and Skills sector.        

  • Nationally certified Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) professionals will be given preference.       

  • Excellent command on communication skills in both Bangla and English.      

  • Excellent computer operating skills & conversant with MS Office package.        

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, team player and passion for social development works.

  • Ability and willingness to travel.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context: Simec Institute of Technology is seeking a dedicated and organized Program Coordinator to oversee the effective planning, organization, and monitoring of our academic programs. The Program Coordinator will be pivotal in supporting students and faculty, ensuring high standards of operation, and liaising with national educational bodies.

Key Responsibilities:       

  • Organize and schedule classes, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to academic timelines.        

  • Facilitate communication between students and teachers, helping maintain a supportive and effective learning environment.        

  • Monitor daily activities, attendance, and performance of both students and faculty to ensure all institute guidelines are met.        

  • Act as the primary point of contact with the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) and National Skills Development Authority (NSDA), ensuring compliance with all standards and requirements.

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase student enrollment, leveraging personal initiative and innovative outreach methods.        

  • To support in designing and developing the TVET and Skills Development programs of UCEP Bangladesh.        

  • To conduct training as required for the TVET and Skills Development programs of UCEP Bangladesh.        

  • To contribute to analyze technical education programs, identify areas of improvement and provide necessary guidance for improvement.        

  • To support researches for identifying skills demand in coordination with other relevant experts and share/use the findings for programs development, communication and marketing.        

  • To facilitate curricula, module/ materials development process for TVET and Skills Development programs.        

  • To support development of CBLM, CSLB and other necessary materials and reports.        

  • To prepare training budgets and also track the expenditure.        

  • To support facilitating events and workshops with relevant personnel from BTEB, NSDC/NSDA, industry, ISC, training institutes and others for developing curricula and module for TVET and Skills Development programs.        

  • To assist in ensuring program quality of TVET and Skills Development programs in line with national guidelines.        

  • To assist researches for identifying skills demand in coordination with other relevant experts and share/use the findings for programs development, communication and marketing.        

  • To support for developing the organizational strategy, project proposal, business plan, business goals and other documents.        

  • To support assessment of students and trainees.        

  • To assist in providing feedback to the Regional Management, Head of TVET & Head of Technical Schools and other relevant personnel for improving program quality.        

  • To assist in developing and following up the process of training evaluation.        

  • To regularly visit programs at the field level and share/use the finding for program quality improvement.        

  • To assist in developing and maintaining various TVET and Skills Development Programme related partnerships.
