Educational Requirements:

∎ Graduation/ Diploma from an Occupational Therapy program with any reputed Institute (is preferable).
∎ Training/Trade Course: Occupational Therapy
∎ Skills Required: Capacity Development, Child Protection, communication and interpersonal skill., Community Development, Community Engagement, Development organization, MS Office

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Job Summary:
∎ Contribute strategic guidance and input in the program & staff development. Ensure the development and implementation of all Rehabilitation and Re-Integration programs for the beneficiaries to reinstate them in the community by working with all the other operational team leaders. Ensure development of mother and children through different learning and capacity building programs to enhance the knowledge and life skills of the beneficiaries to help them rehabilitate in the community, to generate adequate income and live in the community with dignity.
∎ Duties and Responsibilities (Regular Managerial Tasks): Supervise all the Rehabilitation staff and contribute towards their development, training, appraisal, promotion, attendance, leave etc. Plan all the program activities and prepare the budget, fund request, project proposals, and reports required for it. Monitor proper use of budget and check and approve requisitions and bill vouchers. Contribute constructive ideas to the SMT and MCM. Attend and Represent in the UNO and DC meeting.
∎ Networking: Encourage the team to partner with more similar GOs and NGOs to work in our program in a variety of ways. Increase and strengthen the relationship with all existing and new partner organizations to work together for Referral collection, job placement, Support reintegrated mothers, and sharing knowledge. Communicate and apply to different donors for supporting individual mothers for re integration process. Distribute and follow up the respective donation to the mothers and report back to the donors.
∎ Beneficiaries Admission: Keep track on admission flow and continuously work on effective strategy to reach more families that need our support. Develop the capacity of the admission team for on time client assessment (home visit), accurate and effective data collection and systematic data management. Analyse admission number and identify the challenges to suggest constructive ideas to SMT for increasing our number. To utilize our resources, capacity and expertise plan and take necessary action to keep the beneficiaries number on our highest capacity.
∎ Rehabilitation and Training: Ensure every mother at SPP has a properly tailored achievable rehabilitation plan considering her education, skill, ability, resources, community support and demand of the markets as appropriate from the beginning. To introduce and activate effective systems where a mother live in SPP get maximum possible skills, knowledge and in hand training to cope well with all the adversity in the community. Introduce and implement most suitable livelihood & IGA based training for mothers (both practical and theoretical) required in the community and develop respective training module and conduct survey as and when needed.
∎ Literacy Program for Mothers: Device and implement most effective methods for mothers' literacy program so that every mother can achieve sustainable basic reading and writing skills. Continuously work to determine challenges for adult literacy and find ways to overcome them. Develop, guide and support the literacy trainers to achieve the maximum result and involving the program with daily activities.
∎ Occupational Therapy Service: Ensure occupational therapy service and treatment for rehabilitating mothers who have different level of disabilities.
∎ Beneficiaries release: Supervise and ensure a smooth release process for every mother either to community or job placement with all the necessary tools as and where needed.Supervise the post release follow up and collect necessary data and case study for further research and reporting.
∎ Long-term Care Program: Guide, support and keep track of the young adults (children) whom we are the corporate parents. Help them to become independent and respond to their crisis as and when appropriate.
∎ Kurigram Project: Manage and monitor Kurigram project to utilize its full capacity and strengthen the re-integration process.
∎ Database Management: Ensure BMIS is regularly updated and utilized for a better reporting, analysing and re-integration process.
∎ Others: Any other Job assigned by the Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 34 to 48 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Working experience in any occupational therapy program (is preferable)
∎ Good presentation and facilitation skills.
∎ Effective communication skill, leadership skill and reporting skill. Problem solving, time management, Conflict Management, vigilant, proactive and remaining focused is essential for success in this role.
∎ Well conversant in both spoken and written English
