Khan Foundation is seeking applications from competent, dynamic and experienced candidates under "APARAJITA-Political Empowerment of Women, PHASE-III" Project for the following positions:
∎ Reporting Person: S/she will be responsible for reporting to Executive Director

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate effective project planning including budget of respective project area.:Prepare annual work plan and budget (AWP&B) including event calendar in the cluster in which S/he will be operating.
∎ Responsible for overall planning of the project in line expected output and outcomes ensuring participation of all stakeholders in the process.
∎ Prepare multiyear budget as per yearly allocation considering planning & implementation phase and ensure achievement as per target within the deadlines.
∎ Effective and efficient management of project.:Participate in and facilitate different trainings, workshop and meeting at the local, divisional and national level. as well as donor meeting.
∎ Ensure optimum use of project resources and make resources available for smooth operation of project.
∎ :Supervise and monitor the activities of the project personnel and develop 'doing & learning' strategy.
∎ Maintaining liaison and sharing the information with the local government institute, associations, administration and public service provider.
∎ Oversee financial management.
∎ :Maintaining working relation with HELVETAS and SDC offices.
∎ Project Implementation, monitoring, problem solving and decision making Build strong rapport, trust and coordination with the stakeholders in implementing the project activities.
∎ :Reporting the achievement and results per activities as per project requirements.
∎ Conduct monitoring visits to implementation sites, identify key challenges take necessary action to overcome & resolve.
∎ Coordinate progress, process and output monitoring and ensure follow on actions basis on the monitoring findings and keep update the management accordingly.
∎ :Contributing in Advocacy and Policy making Prepare advocacy strategy and support networks at national and local levels.
∎ Develop policy papers/brief and assist in conducting research/study and organize seminars/dialogue/meeting.
∎ :Review existing policies and summarizes and disseminates information regarding legislation and regulation.
∎ Support the day-to-day operation of the Advocacy team including but not limited to preparing presentations, reports and correspondence.
∎ Management of project office,: staff development, documentation and reporting. Ensure performance review/appraisal of all staff in relation with responsibilities following organizational HR policy.
∎ Identify staff training needs; :ensure needs base training for staff timely and appropriately.
∎ Provide on the job training, orientation, coaching and mentoring to the project staff working in the project.
∎ Document lessons learned and apply them for future interventions.
∎ Member of ACC and Program group comprised by the 5 PCs of the NPNGOs and HELVETAS.
∎ :S/he will actively participate in the meetings and activities of the Program group and Aparajita Coordination Committee comprised by Program Coordinators of the NPNGOs and HELVETAS
∎ Cooperating with the Program group in preparing common yearly work plan and supporting and guiding other thematic groups in implementing project activities as per implementation plan with advice and support of HELVETAS.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years experience in monitoring and implementation of the democracy and local governance project/s with local government, particularly in area of local government expertise and empowerment of local government units.
∎ Should have good knowledge of overall program design, implementation including staff development and financial management, advocacy, designing and conducting the training and workshop/seminars at different levels.
∎ Should have previous experience in preparing training modules/supervision, monitoring and reporting as per Performance Monitoring Indicators.
∎ Excellent computer operation skills including Microsoft excel, word, power point, email and internet browsing.
∎ Good interpersonal skills, has demonstrated proactive roles in team work and must have good writing and speaking skill on English
