∎ Master of Development Studies (MDS), Master of Social Science (MSS), Master of Arts (MA) in English, Economics, International Relation, mass communication & Journalism

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project design and Business development (40%)
∎ S/he will be explicitly involved in supporting the team to ensure program quality including the full program cycle, strengthening systems for proposal development and learning as well as the writing, fine-tuning and submission of high-value, strategic, and/or complex proposals from a range of donors, including the development of log frames.
∎ Supporting all expressions of interest, concept notes, and proposals are reviewed for quality assurance, are approved according to internal IR processes, and are submitted to donors in the required format and on time
∎ Arranging project design workshops and consultation meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
∎ S/he will be responsible to review and synthesize key donor priorities to identify areas for IRB further growth & also review solicitations, determine technical strategies and approaches, develop outlines, write and edit proposals. And if require Coordination of the preparation of funding applications with donors such as ECHO, EC, DFID, Forum Syd, UN, etc. &, etc. & Another Internal Donor;
∎ Support cultivating long-term strategic partnerships with private sector stakeholders and peer development agencies.
∎ Support identification of partners in coordination with the Program Manager, including supporting partner assessments and drafting teaming agreements.
∎ Involvement to integrate an inclusion perspective, with help of the SFP, into IRB's routine activities and the organization's program portfolio, and provide expert advice on this.
∎ Knowledge management according to operational plans of the Unit (25%) • Documented all kind of knowledge materials and best practices in the aspect of knowledge management.
∎ Support to the Unit in terms of referral documents, study/survey papers and relevant reading documents.
∎ Set and track proposal development timelines and ensure coordination amongst relevant Unit –Programme Management, MEAL, Finance, Human Resource Management & Development, and external stakeholders (if relevant).
∎ Support to address the Programme Quality Framework in all new proposals and those key elements of program quality are included (e.g., safeguarding, Inclusion lessons learned from past proposals, accountability, risk assessments, effective partnership strategy, etc.).
∎ Develop monthly and annual plans of key actions towards program and business development with the coordination with the PDB Unit.
∎ Development of fact sheets on program quality initiatives and best practices.
∎ Support accordingly to promote a culture of shared learning across all program locations and with colleagues in the region including organizing quarterly project review meetings and grants opening and closing meetings.
∎ Develop & maintain a knowledge management system to capture lessons learned and disseminate these within Concern in Burundi and wider
∎ Effective Communication, coordination, facilitation & linkage building support (10%) Coordination & communication with project stakeholders, Gos, NGOs, private sectors, CBOs, Service providers & IRCO representatives.
∎ Facilitate other NGOs in the working area/region for replication and exchange learning sharing.
∎ Organize & conduction online events involving donor community, Government stakeholders, sector focal, and INGO/NGOs at the National level.
∎ Work with IRB’s all programs and Central External Relationship and Communication unit on linkage building with financial partners.
∎ Support Unit for assessment of existing partner capacities and systems to manage and implement institutionally funded programs and, jointly develop program and project funding proposals;
∎ Contribute to investing in partners’ capacities, by jointly identifying funding needs, developing plans to strengthen capacities,
∎ Work with partners to regularly assess the quality of the relationship, ensuring that effective communication channels are in place and that funding-related issues are timely addressed
∎ Donor Report writing and documentation (10%) •
∎ Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of projects developed
∎ Ensuring the quality report writing in the aspect of all projects and programmatic reporting according to stipulated format
∎ Regular communication and collaboration with programs for qualitative and quantitative report delivery
∎ PDB Unit’s related all papers, reports & events to be documented properly
∎ Ensure the compliance of all manuals and organizational policies for the project team with proper practice and record
∎ Qualitative and quantitative donor report writing (quarterly, annually, project completion, and need-based)
∎ Influencing and representation (10%)
∎ Explore different potential strategic partnership in country with different stakeholders and establish a leadership role of IRB.
∎ Participate in and support national and regional campaign working groups/events to share knowledge
∎ Engage in developing and disseminating learning from different programs and projects and utilize the learning in different ways at both a national and regional level.
∎ Ensure IRB in Bangladesh is working with relevant affiliates and research bodies to conduct action research on programs
∎ Ensure IRB in Bangladesh’s visibility at different national, regional and international forums
∎ Actively participate in the development and maintenance of key organizational networks
∎ Represent IRB at internal and external forums/ networks; establishing and maintaining contact with a range of organizations and individuals and where the appropriate technical working group, cluster meetings program, and other various forum.
∎ Other Requirement (5%)
∎ Contribute to other project activities and any other tasks as required by program management;
∎ Willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods and to remote areas of the projects.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation and as well as Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on the safeguarding of harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Responsible for seasonal (Ramadan & Qurbani) & emergency response programs if require.
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each staff member to understand and obey IR Child Protection & PSEA Policy and respond accordingly as and when required

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in working with, Programme design and analysis, Programme and business development, Experience in Reporting and proposal writing.
