∎ BSc/Diploma in Fisheries
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Fish feed, feeding and stock management.
∎ Assist in advance aquaculture technology like IPRS, Bottom clean and Race way system and others intensive and super intensive culture.
∎ Keep accurate computerized records, data analysis.
∎ Analyze and that the water quality and oxygen levels are right for the fish
∎ Manage fish culture and harvesting schedules and monitor the fish health.
∎ Recruit, supervise and train the staff who feed fish and daily pond management.
∎ Ensure hygiene standards are high, to prevent disease.
∎ Keep records of the numbers and size of fish
∎ Assess the need of medicine, life-saving ingredients and equipment of fish and order accordingly to maintain the stock
∎ Supervising staff
∎ Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all employees work safely
∎ Ensuring environmentally friendly work practices
∎ Carry out research into fish farming.
