Job Context:
∎ Report to: General Manager
∎ Position Summary: We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Production Manager to supervise the factory production operations by leading a technical resources team and effectively co-operating with various peer groups within the organization. As a production manager, you`ll oversee the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations. You`ll need to plan and draw up a production schedule. Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan production meetings, worker schedules, production activities, machine maintenance plans and maintain product quality and budgets.
∎ Plan, formulate, organize, control, and direct production activities.
∎ Maintain production delivery docs and host weekly production WIP with internal teams, elevate and communicate high risk potential order problems.
∎ Develop and monitoring WIP Chart for all order from all suppliers. Manage and review all confirmed costs and deliveries through WIP, ensuring ERP system and internal cost sheets reflect correct costs and delivery dates for vendors and cross functional departments.
∎ Work closely with the Product Development team to ensure fabrics/trims/dry & wet finishes, etc.. All pre-production processes are approved for production in a time manner.
∎ Observe the effective maintenance of safety rules and standards in the department by the workers.
∎ Manage time-lines and work priorities and allocating resources to meet the assigned factory time-lines and goals.
∎ Ensure that the product effectively satisfies the quality level ordered by the customer.
∎ Ensure the effectual adopting of new programs and policies and providing training in order to meet improved requirements ordered by customers.
∎ Execute factory manufacturing strategic plan and aligning it with general plant strategy.
∎ Supervise quality standards and enforce quality-control programs.
∎ Collaborate with sales agents, vendors and financial department to ensure the successful run of receiving and shipping schedule.
∎ Makes sure the product is meeting the level of quality demanded by the customer be it a supplier, retailer or fashion brand, and must investigate the root cause if quality is not met and procure a solution.
∎ Collaborate with other factory managers to find best practices and the best solution.
∎ To see that the safety standards are being maintained within the factory and that workers are abiding by workplace safety rules.
∎ Scheduling QC Inspection, review inspection reports and approval schedule.
∎ Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order.
∎ Preparing production reports and submitting them to key decision-makers.
∎ Regularly inspecting finished products whether they meet quality standards.
∎ All other duties as directed by the Higher Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least 5 years production experience in Apparel category preferred.
∎ Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a factory.
∎ Skills:
∎ Good understanding and experience in Fashion/ Clothing / Retail environment.
∎ Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Exceptional budgeting and finance skills.
∎ Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly
∎ Leadership skills, including the ability to manage time effectively and handle both internal and external conflicts
∎ Meticulous attention to detail.
∎ Strong work ethic.
∎ An overall "CAN DO" attitude.
∎ Prerequisite :
