GMS Textiles Ltd. is a complete GREEN Project & one of the most modern Composite Knit wear factories in Bangladesh is going to recruit “Production Manager (Outerwear)” for factory unit located at Tansutrapur, Kaliakoir, Gazipur.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure Overall On-Time-Delivery of fabric to the next production line.

• Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs; fabric quality segregation, obtain QC approval for the sample/Size/Patterns and bulk production accordingly.

• Work with cross-functional teams to include Merchandising, Sourcing, Technical Design and other production units to ensure all phases of division objectives from initial design to final product and delivery, are being achieved.

• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency in Production Line/Unit.

• Facilitate implementation of all planned initiatives to achieve Operational Excellence.

• Ensure Reduction of Non-productive-time (NPT) of Machineries, process loss of material and Cost per Minute (CPM).

• Plan and schedule production operations on daily/ weekly basis as aligned with the production schedule for the plant and delivery timelines.

• Improve and standardize the planning and scheduling processes (daily/weekly/monthly plan) through the utilization of planning data and analysis of manufacturing capacities.

• Focus on increasing manpower optimization for the unit and reducing Excess over Time (EOT).

• Ensure processes & systems are followed at the shop floor for effective utilization of raw material, etc. as per inventory levels and availability.

• Work towards controlling various costs - like reducing raw material cost, yarn wastage, Fabric wastage and fabric line layout measurements.

• Prepare data for energy/ raw material/ consumables costs. Take initiatives for implementing measures for production efficiency, reduction in CPM & Process loss of material.
