• Prior experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing or handicraft production environment, is highly valuable.
• Experience in coordinating production processes, managing teams, implementing quality control 

• Develop production schedules and timelines for handicraft items.
• Coordinate with designers, artisans, and suppliers to ensure the availability of raw materials and resources.
• Plan production processes to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Establish quality standards and guidelines for finished products.
• Implement quality control measures throughout the production process.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop and manage production budgets.
• Monitor expenses related to materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective production techniques.
• Lead and manage production teams, including artisans, craftsmen, and production staff.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure the team meets production targets and quality standards.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
• Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
• Implement new production techniques, technologies, or equipment to improve productivity.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for optimization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Implement safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for production staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements.
