Prior experience with B2B sales of server, virtualization, or data center solutions is mandatory.
Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure (server, storage, virtualization, DR/backup).
Strategic mindset with ability to balance technical depth and business acumen.
Strong project coordination, communication, and vendor negotiation skills.
ERP/CRM proficiency and hands-on familiarity with platforms like VMware, Windows Server, or Hyper-V.
Job Summary:
To lead the product lifecycle management, solution planning, and strategic business growth for server systems and virtualization platforms. The Product Manager will act as the business and technical authority for enterprise server, hyperconverged, and virtualization products, ensuring alignment with market demands and organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Own the full lifecycle of server and virtualization products (e.g., HPE, Dell, Lenovo, VMware, Hyper-V).
Develop product strategies, roadmap, and market positioning.
Analyze market trends and competitor products to guide pricing, bundling, and positioning.
Plan and execute GTM strategies for enterprise server and virtualization offerings.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive demand generation and lead conversion.
Identify and onboard new vendors, distributors, and value-added partners.
Work with Pre-Sales and Technical teams to validate architecture, sizing, and design of server/storage/virtualization solutions.
Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in partner/customer meetings.
Conduct technical workshops and trainings for internal and external stakeholders.
Manage OEM/distributor relations including deal registration, special pricing, rebates, and product certifications.
Track and utilize MDF (Market Development Funds) and
co-branding opportunities with vendors.
Set and monitor product-wise sales targets, gross margin, and profitability.
Track inventory, pricing, and forecasting accuracy through coordination with SCM and Commercial departments.
Analyze revenue contribution and ROI per product line.
