Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for someone who can start immediately and has good PHP skills.

You must have access to a computer or laptop and provide a mobile number in your application that has an active internet connection and can be reached via WhatsApp.

We are looking for a Front-End Developer to join our team on an immediate contract basis. The role includes maintaining and enhancing our e-commerce website, resolving technical issues, and developing new features. The initial contract is for 3 months, with the possibility of extension or transition to permanent employment following a performance review.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for front-end development and the ability to create clean, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces. You will be responsible for implementing engaging website features, ensuring cross-platform compatibility, and delivering high-quality code that enhances user experience and aligns with our brand goals.

Basic knowledge of Hindi and Hindu literature will be an advantage. Fresh candidates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update our website and apps on a daily basis.

• Develop responsive and mobile-first designs.

• Work with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, python and JavaScript/jQuery to deliver front-end solutions.

• Ensure smooth integration with backend systems and third-party apps.

• Troubleshoot bugs, layout issues, and eCommerce-related problems.

• Optimize website performance and speed.

• Apply security and personal data protection best practices.

• Assist in creative web design and layout improvements.

• Create and execute testing plans for new features and bug fixes.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.

• Python knowledge is an advantage.

• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.

• Familiarity with backend integrations and third-party apps.

• Knowledge of security and data protection principles.

• Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and custom functionality development.

• Experience with website speed optimization.

• Knowledge of Hindu scriptures/rituals will be helpful

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply — passion and skills are more important than years of experience.

• For experienced candidates: 1-2 years of practical development experience.

• Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
