Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Knit/Woven Product Development or Merchandising.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

• Good organizational, coordination, and documentation skills.

• Basic knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and garment manufacturing processes.

•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

• Ability to manage multiple development timelines and work under pressure.

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Willingness to learn and develop within an international sourcing environment.

Responsibilities & Context

YIK YUE (H.K.) COMMERCIAL LIMITED is looking for a motivated Junior Product Developer to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will support the Team Leader in coordinating with HQ, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure smooth product development, accurate documentation, and timely sample execution.

This position is ideal for someone with strong English communication skills, a sound understanding of knit and woven garments, and a passion for learning international product development and sourcing practices. Job Responsibilities

•  Assist in product development activities for the Knit/Woven department.

• Coordinate with HQ, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth sample development, timely approvals, and adherence to development timelines.

•  Prepare and update development status, costing files, and development documentation under the guidance of the Team Leader.

• Follow up on sample development across multiple factories to ensure quality standards and delivery timelines are met.

• Measure development samples and coordinate with factories to implement any required improvements or corrections.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve day-to-day development-related issues.

• Maintain and update sample trackers, and prepare weekly and monthly development reports for HQ to support performance evaluation and decision-making.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Team Leader or Management.
