Job Context
We`re looking for a Sourcing & procurement officer to lead our team in sourcing the best possible materials for our products. The Sourcing officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that our products are made with high-quality materials. If you have a background in supply chain management or procurement, we encourage you to apply for this position
Job Responsibilities
Perform all procurement and contracting activities, including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation, and preparation of contracts.
Manage overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the facility.
Implement procurement strategies to maintain the security of supply and optimum value for money.
Responsible for Trims Accessories sourcing, procurement, and follow-up till in-house the Trims Accessories from the local (and overseas) market.
Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and manage vendor enlistment to maintain an effective pool of vendors, keeping in mind effective negotiation and pricing of quality products.
Set policy and guidelines for delivering a commercial and cost-effective procurement process for the business.
Manage the procurement budget and ensure that all procurement activities are within budgetary constraints, and ensure all goods and services purchased comply with the company’s procurement policy & procedure.
Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals and analyze market and delivery trends so as to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends.
Review current processes for procurement and make recommendations where appropriate.
Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls, and processes.
