Experience:
Your key responsibilities will include:
Analyze daily sales trends and past pricing data to determine when to increase or decrease prices.
Track market fluctuations, supplier price changes, and competitor pricing to make informed pricing decisions.
Set and adjust both sales and purchase prices using predefined SOPs and market intelligence.
Identify opportunities for margin optimization and suggest pricing adjustments accordingly.
Regularly communicate with suppliers to negotiate better purchase rates.
Work closely with a field team (20-30 members) to gather market insights and competitor price trends.
Maintain and update records of supplier pricing, purchase agreements, and stock availability.
Utilize Google Sheets/Excel to track and analyze pricing, sales trends, and supplier rates.
Compare historical sales price trends to determine the best pricing strategies.
Ensure price updates are accurately reflected across internal systems and e-commerce platforms.
Identify high-margin opportunities and alert management about potential price changes.
Work closely with sales, procurement, and finance teams to align pricing strategies.
Generate daily/weekly reports on pricing trends, market movements, and supplier changes.
Document and update pricing decisions based on market intelligence and SOP guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong logical thinking and analytical skills – ability to make data-backed decisions.
Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel – must be able to use formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
Attention to detail to track price changes, supplier updates, and sales trends accurately.
Excellent communication and coordination skills for managing field teams and supplier interactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where pricing decisions must be made quickly.
