Responsibilities & Context:

An Edible Oil Refinery Plant Manager directs daily operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards (food safety), and safety compliance. Key responsibilities include overseeing refining/extraction processes, managing maintenance (preventative and OEM relations), leading personnel, and driving continuous improvement to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations of the edible oil plant, including extraction and refining processes.

  • Maintenance Management: Establish and oversee comprehensive preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance programs, including CMMS implementation.

  • Quality & Food Safety: Ensure all products meet strict quality standards and safety certifications.

  • Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of mechanical or chemical engineering, specifically within fats and edible oil production.

  • Personnel Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the plant workforce.

  • Continuous Improvement: Implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste
