Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Plant Head will have complete responsibility managing the day-to-day activities of the plant's operation in a safe and effective manner; while producing products that meet or exceeds all customer requirements.
∎ This position is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the equipment is consistent with the plant policies and procedures which makes up the Safety and Quality Systems.
∎ Responsible for critical manufacturing KPIs including uptime, conversion cost and plant OEE. Contribute to the plant's operating and capital budget preparation
∎ Ensure that there is no violations of approved quality and safety standards. Continuously improve the process as an individual and as a team member and ensures all environmental standard requirements are met and in compliance.
∎ Stop any operation that is not producing product to customers' expectations or is in violation of approved quality and safety standards.
∎ Responsible for creating an environment of teamwork focused on producing quality products.
∎ Responsible for plant and equipment availability (uptime), conversion cost and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
∎ Ensure safe operation by following established safety guidelines and holds self and other accountable.
∎ Maintain open communication with employees and ensure their improvement ideas and operation. Conducts performance appraisals and encourages and promotes improvement.
∎ Implement policies to maintain employee morale at high-level through fair and consistent application of company policies.
∎ Monitor and control waste to manage production costs and reduce environmental impacts.
∎ Coach and counsel team members to perform in accordance with group culture, values, and standards and working directly with Human Resources on all disciplinary matters.
∎ Conducts performance appraisals and encourages and promotes continuous improvement activities.
∎ Familiarity with recycled resin or yarn production and quality.
∎ Other duties as instructed by the Management
