Responsibilities & Context:

Election Observation Mission (EOM)

1. Background: The Election Observation Mission (EOM) requires professional photographic and video documentation to support its public communication, reporting, and outreach activities. The Photographer/Videographer will work closely with the Press Office to visually document the mission’s activities in line with EOM visibility and communication standards.

2. Objective: The objective of this assignment is to produce high-quality visual content both video and still photography, that accurately reflects the work and key messages of the EOM.

3. Scope of Work: The Photographer/Videographer will be responsible for the following tasks:

a) Video Production

• Filming high-quality video clips covering EOM activities, including but not limited to official events, press conferences, meetings, field activities, and thematic topics.

• Producing video content on specific topics as instructed by and the Press Office.

• Conducting post-production activities, including editing, colour correction, sound editing, subtitles (if required), and formatting for dissemination across media platforms.

b) Photography

• Producing professional still photographs of EOM events, meetings, election-related activities, and feature topics, as briefed by and the Press Office.

• Editing and processing photographs in line with agreed technical and branding standards.

• Ensuring timely delivery of edited photographs for immediate and archival use.

4. Coordination and Reporting

• The Photographer/Videographer will work under the supervision of in close coordination with the Press Office.

• Daily or assignment-based briefings will be provided, and deliverables will be submitted according to agreed timelines.

5. Deliverables

• Edited video clips and final video products as agreed with the Press Office.

• A curated set of edited, high-resolution photographs for each assignment or event.

• All raw footage and original image files to be handed over to the EOM upon request.
